The invention relates to a modular selection button for actuating contact elements. Said button comprises a housing (), spring-loaded switching lugs () and according to requirements a control switch (), a rotary knob () or a key-operated switch () as a rotating actuator, in addition to one of several transmission members (), which transmits the movement from the actuator () to the switching lugs () via switching cam elements (). Stops and counter-stops which are fixed and displaceable respectively with respect to the housing () form various stop elements that can be used to select the number of switching positions and actuation modes. The various stops are configured on the housing (), on the key-operated actuator () and on the second stop slides () that are to be inserted into the housing (). The various counter-stops are configured in the control switch (), in the rotary knob () and on the transmission members ().

Pushbutton for latching and momentary contact functions

A control and/or signaling device including a housing member and a head member, and which is intended for mounting in the mounting bore of a mounting plate, a mounting wall or a like smaller than the head in the vicinity of the head. The housing member so that the control and/or signaling device can be attached through a nut member and using only one hand. To this end, a resilient flexible material is placed in the transition area between the cylindrical housing and the head member wherein this flexible mass is applied according to a dual-component injection-moulding method. The housing member and the head member are made of hard resilient material that has a sealing function as well as fixation function optimised by rib-shaped segments.
