The invention relates to a foamable mixture which contains at least one alkoxysilane-terminated prepolymer and which can be produced of a) at least one alkoxysilane that was functionalized with isocyanate groups and that can be produced of at least one hydroxyfunctional and/or aminofunctional alkoxysilane and at least one diisocyanate or polyisocyanate, and b) at least one compound that contains at least one OH group, and at least one blowing agent, characterized in that the foamable mixture has a dynamic viscosity of 100 to 25,000 mPas, preferably 500 to 10,000 mPas, at 23&#xb0; C. The invention further relates to a method for producing said foamable mixture. The foamable mixtures according to the invention are suitable for sealing, insulating and mounting joints, roof surfaces, windows and doors or for filling hollow spaces.

A process for the production of compounds which contain at least one urea group and at least one silyl group. The process involves reacting a compound containing at least one amino group and a carbamate compound. The compounds produced by this process are useful as surface coating compositions, foams and adhesives.

Polymers with urea groups and silyl groups and production and use thereof

Described is an NCO-group-containing polyurethane prepolymer madefrom polyisocanyates and polyols derived from natural oils. The invention is characterized in that the polyol is obtained by transesterification in the presence of basic lithium compounds. Together with a tertiary amine used to accelerate the moisture curing, the storage stability is thus increased considerably. Up to 4.0 mmol of the lithium compound is used per kilogram of polyol, and 0.1 to 2.0% by wt. of the amine, relative to the total weight of the composition, is used as the accelerator. The polyurethane prepolymer is suitable not only for the production of adhesives but also for the production of foamed materials, in particular those dispensed from throw-away pressure vessels.

The invention relates to isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymers containing a stoichiometric excess of an isocyanate component comprised of one or more aromatic isocyanates containing on average from 2 to 4 isocyanate groups per molecule and a polyol component comprised of an oleochemical polyol prepared by epoxidation of a triglyceride containing olefinic unsaturation and subsequent ring opening with an alcohol. In use, accelerators, flameproofing agents, blowing agents and, optionally, liquefying agents, dyes and/or stabilizers, are included. The oleochemical polyol does not contain any free epoxide groups and is obtained by complete ring opening of epoxidized triglycerides of a fatty acid mixture containing at least partly olefinically unsaturated fatty acids with one or more C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alcohols and partial conversion by alcoholysis or transesterification of the triglyceride derivatives to alkyl ester polyols containing from 1 to 12 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical. A process for the production of these polyurethane prepolymers and to their use as starting materials for the production of polyurethane foams is included.
