The present disclosure relates to a frame piece for a rack, comprising a hollow profile which extends along its longitudinal axis and is brought into its cylindrical profile shape by shaping a substantially flat starting material. The hollow profile on two opposite lateral edges, has a connecting zone for closing the hollow profile at least one tab-type projection being formed on at least one of the lateral edges, said projection extending away from the lateral edge of the hollow profile and being shaped such that it can be brought into engagement with at least one corresponding receptacle on the respective other lateral edge in a clamping or positive manner.

Frame piece for a rack

The heat exchanger having a heat exchanging channel () comprises an inlet () and an outlet () for a medium flowing through the heat exchanging channel. The heat exchanger has at least two stages () being arranged one after the other in view to the flowing direction of the medium, each stage having a heat exchanging channel (). The first stage has at least one guiding channel () arranged parallel to the heat exchanging channel (). The heat exchanging channel () has at the end of the respective stage () at least one outlet () and the guiding channel () of the respective stage is connected with the heat exchanging channel () of the next following stage (). By this unused heat transfer medium is fed to each stage, said heat transfer medium having a higher temperature difference with respect to the respective heat exchanging channel. By this a good heat transfer efficiency is realized even with relatively long flow pathes.

Multistage heat exchanging duct comprising a parallel conduit

A rack is presented including a plurality of at least first and second frame pieces adapted to be interconnected, wherein each frame extends along a longitudinal axis. The rack includes a corner connector arranged to interconnect at least the first frame piece and the second frame piece with the longitudinal axes of the first and second interconnected frame pieces arranged obliquely to one another. The rack includes at least first and second bracing units in which, for the purpose of connecting a plurality of frame pieces, the first bracing unit is capable of bracing the first frame piece against the corner connector arranged between the first and second frame pieces to be connected, and the second bracing unit is capable of bracing the second frame piece against the corner connector obliquely to the first frame piece. Each bracing unit includes at least one tensioning element and two force transmission members.

Rack

The air conditioning device for electronic components features three channels () for two flowing fluids that are in heat exchange with one another. In the first operating mode these two fluids are guided by means of switchable flaps into two selected channels () where they are in heat exchange with one another at a partition () that is equipped with heat exchange elements (). In a second operating mode the flaps are switched in such a manner that the two fluids are in heat exchange with one another at a Peltier element () that is equipped on both sides with heat exchange elements (). In a third operating mode the Peltier element is switched as a heating element. In the first operating mode on the other hand the Peltier element is deactivated and consumes no electric energy.

A method for producing a filter element involving applying a membrane layer to a carrier substrate, etching a membrane chamber, producing pores in the membrane layer, subjecting the membrane layer to an additional treatment to increase the mechanical strength.

Filter element and method for the production thereof

A heat exchanger which has a base plate and several carrier plates projecting from the base plate. At least one cooling element is located on each carrier plate. The cooling elements have a substrate with an underside and an upper side. Webs project from the upper side of the substrate and lie one behind the other, the height of which is less than the distance between adjacent webs. The substrate has a plurality of regularly arranged channels that extend through the substrate.

Heat exchanger

A heat exchanger comprising a substrate that comprises a bottom side and a top side; a unit for generating a directed fluid stream with a flow direction that is tangential to the bottom side and to the top side of substrate; webs projecting from the top side of substrate and perpendicular to the flow direction, lying one after the other in the flow direction, wherein a height of the webs is less than a spacing of adjacent webs in the flow direction; and a plurality of regularly arranged channels extending through the substrate.

Heat-exchanging device

A filter apparatus having a filter membrane, a main body, a supply channel running perpendicular to the surface of the filter membrane and a gap running between it and the filter membrane, for the formation of a tangentially directed transverse flow, a return channel connected with the supply channel, a circulation channel located around a circumferential edge of the membrane, having an inlet connected to the gap and an outlet connected to the return channel, and a circulator to impart a circular movement to the fluid in the circulation channel.

Filter device comprising integral centrifugal separation

A filter device for filtering liquids including a filter membrane, a main body which is arranged upstream from the filter membrane, and which has a feed channel perpendicular to the surface of the filter membrane, a gap extending between the filter membrane and the main body forming a tangentially directed cross-flow, and a return channel which is used to return the tangential flow to the feed channel. The flow is primarily returned thereto by means of a contraction in the feed channel at the mouth of the return channel. Preferably, a solid separator is disposed in the return channel. At least one baffle element is arranged in the feed channel in order to create a turbulent flow. The tangential flow along the filter membrane is used to clean said membrane.

Filter device

The cooling device, particularly for electronic components, such as microprocessors, consists of a substrate (), which features a heat-inlet surface that is in thermal contact with an object () to be cooled and a heat-dissipation surface. The heat-dissipation surface has a defined structure, preferably in the form of continuous channels (), and has a significantly larger surface area than the heat-inlet surface. At least the heat-inlet surface, but preferably also all or significant portions of the heat-dissipation surface are provided with a thin coating () made of heat-conductive material. Another improvement is obtained because the surface features a coating made of fine particles (), e.g., made of metal or metal oxide, which further increases the surface area.

Refrigeration device and a method for producing the same

A method for the production of filters in which a blank of n- or p-doped etchable semiconductor material is connected as an anode or a cathode according to doping. The method includes contacting a first side of the blank with an etching solution in which a counterelectrode is arranged to electrochemically etch the first side, and supplying activation energy to generate minority charge carriers to the blank during the etching process. The activation energy supplied per unit time is reduced with increasing etching progress.

Method for producing a filter

A method for producing a filter includes the steps of providing a blank of etchable semiconductor material having a first side and a second side and affixing a holding element to the blank. The holding element is chemically resistant to an etching solution. A current source is connected to the blank and at least one of the first and second sides of the blank is illuminated with light. The holding element and the blank are immersed in the etching solution until the first side of the blank is wetted so that the first side is etched electrochemically. The holding element is affixed to the blank such that contact areas between the holding element and the blank remain free of the etching solution.
