A device and a method for forming hollow cylindrical bodies. The device has a plurality of stations. A tool is allocated to each station. The tools are arranged on a common carrier. The tool can be moved between two reversing positions via a main drive. This reciprocating movement is executed intermittently. One of the two reversing positions forms a rest position in which the tool carrier stops in a rest phase. While the tool carrier stops in a rest position in the rest phase, a transport device transports the bodies from one station to the respective next station.

Device and method for forming hollow cylindrical bodies

A forming device for cup-shaped hollow bodies having a machine frame, a drive device, a workpiece rotary table for accommodating hollow bodies and a tool holder for accommodating processing tools, wherein the workpiece rotary table and the tool holder face one another and can be turned about a rotational axis in relation to one another and can be linearly moved in relation to one another along the rotational axis, and wherein the drive device comprises first drive means for providing a rotary step movement and second drive means for providing a cyclical linear movement between workpiece rotary table and tool holder to enable the hollow bodies to be formed by means of the processing tools in a plurality of consecutive processing steps. The second drive means has a stroke adjustment arrangement which is designed for adjusting a working stroke of the cyclical linear movement as a function of a control signal of a control device and/or for continuously variably adjusting the working stroke.

Forming device

A forming device for cup-shaped hollow bodies () with a machine frame (), a drive mechanism (), a workpiece turntable () to support hollow bodies () and a tool carrier () to support machining tools (), wherein the workpiece turntable () and tool carrier () oppose one another and can be rotated in relation to one another around an axis of rotation () and can be linearly displaced in relation to one another along the axis of rotation () and wherein the drive mechanism () is designed to provide a rotational stepping motion and a cyclical linear motion between the workpiece turntable () and the tool carrier (), in order to allow the forming of the hollowing bodies () by means of the machining tools () in a plurality of sequential machining steps, as well as a stationary supporting tube () assigned to the machine frame (), the central axis of which extends along the axis of rotation () and supports the tool carrier () and/or the workpiece turntable (). On an external surface () of the supporting tube () a guiding device () is arranged, which is designed for the mounting with a linear motion of the tool carrier () and/or the workpiece turntable () on the supporting tube ().

System for stacking blanks produced, particularly in a progressive die process, has one or more stacking mandrels which can be lifted and/or lowered in a stacking channel. The stacking mandrel/mandrels has/have a stacking mandrel top part and a stacking mandrel bottom part. At least one metal sheet holder is arranged in the area of the stacking mandrel top part. The stacking bottom part has a rotatable construction.

System for stacking blanks produced particularly in a progressive die process

A tensioning assembly having a cylindrical exterior circumferential surface of a drivable shaft section and an interior cone ring having a cylindrical interior circumferential surface arranged on the cylindrical exterior circumferential surface, the interior cone ring having a conical exterior circumferential surface. An exterior cone ring is arranged on the conical exterior circumferential surface of the interior cone ring, the exterior cone ring having tensioning screws which are coaxial with respect to the drivable shaft section and by which the interior and exterior cone rings are tensioned with one another and the interior cone ring is tensioned with the drivable shaft section. To provide a tensioning assembly that is easily mounted and relaxed without loosening of the tensioning screws, a driven sleeve is arranged on the shaft section and is coupled to a driven element, the driven sleeve having an axial length that is larger than an axial length of the interior and exterior cone rings by the axial length of the driven element. Grooves are provided in at least one of the cylindrical circumferential surfaces, the grooves admitting a liquid pressure medium to the pairing of the cylindrical interior and exterior circumferential surfaces. The admission of pressure medium to the pairing of the cylindrical interior and exterior surfaces acts as a hydraulic release system for the tensioning between the shaft section and the driven sleeve.
