The actual orientation of the mobile device may be used as a landmark such that the relative orientation of the user's head to the mobile device may be used to approximate the actual head angle of the mobile device user. The determined actual head angle may be compared to a predetermined head angle corresponding to correct posture. If the actual head angle deviates from the predetermined head angle, a stimulus may be provided from the mobile device to encourage the user to rotate their head and/or reposition the mobile device such that their actual head angle aligns with the predetermined head angle.

A device may include a memory to store a first transmission (Tx) power level and a Tx power determination module to receive a second Tx power level from a device driver, the second Tx power level provided from a Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) associated with a platform hosting the device. The Tx power determination module may further determine a third Tx power level based on a comparison of the first Tx power level and the second Tx power level.
