A new and distinctive cultivar of flowering crabapple, botanically known as'Jefgreen', that is characterized by its columnar plant habit, its foliage that is bronze-green in color in spring that change to green in color in summer, its light pink flowers opening from pink flower buds, its cold hardiness at least in U.S.D.A. Zone 3, and its good resistance to apple scab and fireblight.

A new and distinct Linden tree cultivar is provided that is excellent for growing as an attractive boulevard tree. The crown is upright and is unlike the crown configuration commonly observed in Linden trees. The foliage is glossy medium green in the summer and a consistent golden yellow in the fall. Good resistance to leaf gall mites and fungal leaf spotting is exhibited. Attractive exfoliating grey-brown bark is formed on an sturdy trunk as the tree matures. Fragrant flowers are formed on moderate basis and the resulting seed crop is sparse. Good winter hardiness is observed with the tree being well adapted for U.S.D.A. Hardiness Zone No. 3. A high degree of tolerance to winter sunscald damage also is provided.

Linden tree named 'Harvest Gold'

A new and distinct Marsh.&times; Rupr. hybrid ash cultivar is provided which exhibits a vigorous growth habit. An attractive upright tree form with an acute branching character is exhibited. Shiny yellow-green compound leaves are formed. The flowers are perfect, seed production is low, and no production of viable seeds has been observed to date. The tree hardiness is excellent. The new cultivar is particularly well suited for the lining of streets and boulevards.

Hybrid ash tree named 'Northern Treasure'

A new and distinct Marsh.&times; Rupr. hybrid ash cultivar is provided which exhibits a vigorous growth habit. An attractive oval to round-shaped tree form with an acute branching character is exhibited. The tree crown is almost as wide as tall when grown in an open setting. Dull green compound leaves are formed. The flowers are perfect, seed production is low, and no production of viable seeds has been observed to date. The tree hardiness is good. The new cultivar is particularly well suited for growing as a shade tree.

Hybrid ash tree named 'Northern Gem'

A new and distinctive cultivar of little leaf linden, botanically known as Tilia cordata is provided. The new cultivar exhibits a more rapid growth rate than is commonly observed in the species, exhibits superior winter hardiness in northern zones, and exhibits good foliage disease resistance. The crown is moderately pyramidal in configuration, and the trunk is sturdy and well resists sun scald. Flowers are formed in abundance, but lead to the formation of a sparse seed crop. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use as an attractive landscape planting and for use in areas where a distinctive shade tree is desired.
