An extrusion head and a method for producing an elongated hollow body as an extrudate of an extrusion of extrusion material are provided. The extrusion head includes: a housing; a mandrel mounted in the housing, and a mouthpiece arranged downstream of the mandrel in a direction of extrusion. The extrusion material can flow around the mandrel in the direction of extrusion of the extrusion head. The mandrel includes an end-side mouthpiece section arranged in an opening of the mouthpiece so as to form a circumferential gap between the end-side mouthpiece section and an opening in the mouthpiece, and the mandrel is pivotable about at least one axis transverse to the direction of extrusion to change a geometry of the circumferential gap.

Extrusion head and method for producing an elongated hollow body by means of said extrusion head

A method for charging at least one extruder with at least one material web including rubber and/or plastics mixtures includes: transporting the at least one material web, at a distance from at least one material feed of the at least one extruder, into a region of a material feed, in each case by a conveying device; and receiving and/or processing and introducing, by at least one handling device having at least one tool, an initial region of the at least one material web into the at least one material feed of the at least one extruder. At least the at least one extruder, the conveying device, and the at least one handling device comprise a production plant.

Method for charging an extruder

An apparatus for feeding a screw-type extruder with material strips made of rubber mixtures or plastics mixtures, which strips are arranged in a folded zig-zag shape and can be supplied by means of at least one conveyor belt to a supply region of a supply element that is funnel-shaped, at least in portions, and an extruder. A motor-driven conveyor device for the material strip is arranged within the supply region, which device comprises a pressure surface that can abut the surface of the material strip and can be moved in a reversing manner. Said pressure surface only abuts the surface of the material strip in the conveying direction and, in the direction opposite the conveying direction, it adopts a return position in which it is spaced from the surface of the material strip.

Apparatus for feeding an extruder

An extrusion head configured for at least one extruder includes a flow channel a finishing die; and an opening in operative communication with the flow channel, wherein the opening is configured to at least partially accommodate a screw shaft of an additional extruder.

Extrusion head as well as an extrusion device fitted with such an extrusion head

An extrusion head for at least one extruder including a first head part having a first joint and a second head having a second joint wherein the first head part and the second head part are pivotable with respect to each other using the respective first joint and second joint. When the extrusion head is in an operative position, the first head part rests against a first sealing face and the second head part rests against a second sealing face. A drive element is connected to the first head part and the second head part using a connecting element. The first head part and the second head part are movable using the drive element from a fixed operative position into an open rest position.
