The present specification provides for an agent for coloring keratinic fibers. The agent includes, a cosmetic carrier, a compound of formula (I), R1 and R2 independently of one another denote hydrogen, a C-Calkyl group, a C-Calkenyl group, a hydroxyl group, a halogen, a C-Calkoxy group, an amino group, a nitro group, an acetyl amino group, or a sulfonamide group; or when in ortho-position to one another, form a 5- or 6-membered, saturated or unsaturated ring, which optionally include further heteroatoms.

Anionic azo dyestuffs for coloring keratin-containing fibers

The invention relates to agents for coloring keratinic fibers, in particular human hair, including in a cosmetic carrier at least one compound of the formula (I). The structures the of the general formula (I) have a heterocycle A which bears a quaternary nitrogen atom and thus a positive charge. The invention furthermore relates to the use of these novel azo dyes in agents for coloring hair and to the dyes themselves.
