Liner and display device including the same

A display device includes a display panel including a display surface and a rear surface opposite to each other; and a flexible printed circuit board attachable to the display panel at the rear surface of the display panel. The flexible printed circuit board includes a conductive layer, a passivation layer defining an outer surface of the flexible printed circuit board, and a base film between the conductive layer and the passivation layer, the outer surface includes a first region at which the rear surface of the display panel is attachable to the flexible printed circuit board and a second region at which the rear surface of the display panel is not attached to the flexible printed circuit board, and the first region has greater surface roughness than the second region.

Display device and method of manufacturing flexible printed circuit board

An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display device including: a substrate including a display area and a non-display area; a COF package overlapped with the non-display area of the substrate; a printed circuit board (PCB) overlapped with the COF package; a plurality of pixels disposed on the display area of the substrate; a plurality of data lines connected to the plurality of pixels; a first crack sensing line disposed on the non-display area of the substrate; a second crack sensing line that extends to be parallel to the first crack sensing line on the non-display area of the substrate and is connected to the first data line of the plurality of data lines; a first dummy wire that is disposed on the COF package and is overlapped with the first crack sensing line and the second crack sensing line; a first anisotropic conductive film disposed between the substrate and the COF package; a first test pattern and a second test pattern disposed on the PCB; a third test pattern that is disposed on the COF package and is overlapped with the first test pattern and the second test pattern; and a second anisotropic conductive film disposed between the COF package and the PCB.

Display device

A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a first panel, a second panel facing the first panel, and a sealant configured to seal together the first and second panels. The first panel includes a first substrate including a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area, a thin film display layer formed in the display area of the first substrate, and a first lower gate driving circuit formed in the peripheral area of the first substrate. The second panel includes a second substrate including a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area, a contact sensing layer formed in the display area of the second panel, and a first upper gate driving circuit formed in the peripheral area of the second substrate. The sealant at least partially overlaps the first lower and upper gate driving circuits.

An EL display, including a substrate having a pixel region and a non-pixel region, at least one light emitting diode disposed on the pixel region of the substrate, a sealant disposed on the non-pixel region of the substrate, an oxygen generating layer, an absorbent layer laminated onto the oxygen generating layer, and a cap adhered to the sealant, such that the at least one light emitting diode, the oxygen generating layer, and the absorbent layer are enclosed between the cap and the substrate.

Electroluminescent display

An organic electroluminescent device induces optical resonance with a simple structure, the organic electroluminescent device including: a transparent substrate; a semi-transparent layer formed on the transparent substrate; a first anode layer formed on the semi-transparent layer as a predetermined pattern; a cathode layer formed of a metallic total reflection layer on the first anode layer; and an organic layer formed between the first anode layer and the cathode layer, which includes at least an emitting layer, wherein an optical distance between a top surface of the semi-transparent layer and a bottom of the cathode layer is determined to be a least integer multiple of half the peak wavelengths of light of a predetermined set of colors. Due to a resonance effect of the organic electroluminescent device, the emission efficiency of wavelengths of light of different colors is improved, and high-purity quality pictures may be displayed on the organic electroluminescent device.
