Apparatuses, systems and methods for indicating whether a target has been impacted by a projectile are disclosed. Embodiments may include a microcontroller, an impact sensor, and an impact indicator. Apparatus may include an acoustic sensor and a miss indicator. Acoustic information or impact information may be received by the sensors and sent to the microcontroller unit. A determination may be made regarding whether the target has been impacted. An indication of a hit or a miss may be made by the impact indicator based on the determination. A light redirection element, which may include a light pipe, may direct light from the impact indicator around the edge of a target to a viewer.

Apparatus and method for indicating whether a target has been impacted by a projectile

An apparatus for measuring velocities of projectiles launched from firearms is disclosed. The apparatus includes a stationary clamp arm and a movable clamp arm works in concert with the stationary clamp arm for clamping the apparatus to a firearm. A thumb screw is employed to secure the movable clamp arm and the stationary clamp arm to the firearm. A sensor module, which is integrated to the stationary clamp, includes a first and second sensor coils, a first magnet adjacent to the first sensor coil, and a second magnet adjacent to the second sensor coil.

A muzzle-mounted chronograph for measuring velocities of projectiles launched from firearms. The chronograph includes a sensor module and a controller. The sensor module includes a first and second coils and a device for applying a stable magnetic field to the first and second coils. This disclosure relates to a system and method for storage of a modular cartridge within a cavity formed in a portion of a firearm, wherein the cavity is not the magazine well of the firearm. The disclosure provides for a system for disengagebly retaining such modular cartridges, as well as multiple embodiments of cartridges which may be retained therein. Such embodiments of modular cartridges include: a miniature magazine (mini-mag) which may be used to store ammunition, and which may be operable as a magazine for the firearm; a dry box which may be used to store materials in a manner in which they are protected from the ambient environment; a monopod which may be used to help support a firearm; a flashlight; and a battery charger, which may provide for a usb output.

An apparatus for correcting trajectories variations of projectiles launched from a firearm is disclosed. The apparatus includes a control circuit for determining an appropriate impulse to be imparted into a projectile based on the measured velocity of the projectile, at least one steering coil, and a pulsed-power supply for discharging an amount of energy commensurate with the determined impulse to the steering coil such that a set of magnetic fields is produced to impart an amount of corrective kinetic energy into the projectile as the projectile passes the steering coil.

A multi-reel, line-handling apparatus can include a housing, a shaft located within the housing, the shaft defining a shaft axis, a first reel located within the housing, the first reel rotatably mounted to the shaft about a first reel axis angled with respect to the shaft axis, and a second reel located within the housing, the second reel rotatably mounted to the shaft about a second reel axis angled with respect to the shaft axis. The first reel and the second reel can be rotatable with respect to the housing about the shaft axis.
