A tool box is formed with two counter bores, and includes a handle formed with headed latches. Each of the counter bores has an upper enlarged section and a lower constricted section confined by an inward flange. Each of the headed latches includes an enlarged head received in the enlarged section of the respective counter bore, and a bifurcated shank having a pair of elastic legs that are respectively formed with barbed ends, and extending through the constricted section of the respective counter bore such that the flange is sandwiched between the enlarged head and the barbed ends of the elastic legs.

Tool box with easily mountable handle

A tool storage unit includes left and right walls, and a bottom wall. A left protrusion projects from an upper segment of the left wall toward the right wall for urging a front end wall of a socket. A right protrusion projects from an intermediate segment of the right wall toward the left wall for abutting against a central depressed area in a rear end wall of the socket. A plurality of the tool storage units are interconnected in a row for storing a plurality of sockets, in which the left protrusions on the left walls of the tool storage units are formed as a continuous projection that extends across the left walls.

Tool storage unit capable of firm retention of a socket

A tool box includes a case body and two side plates. The case body includes base and cover parts. The lateral sides of the base and cover parts have peripheral flanges that extend along the peripheries of the lateral sides to confine cavity halves. The peripheral flanges of the base part have opposite sides formed with first engagement portions. Each of the side plates has a lower portion formed with a second engagement portion that engages releasably a corresponding one of the first engagement portions. The side plates further have outer surfaces adapted to be provided with marks. The lower and upper portions of the side plates are retained in respective cavity halves of the base and cover parts. Stop members project from the peripheral flanges adjacent to the end faces outwardly of the cavities.
