A carriage having a frame which includes a plurality of elongated frame components. A first attachment point couples a first and second elongated frame component. A second attachment point couples a third and fourth elongated frame component. A transverse elongated frame component couples to the first and second attachment points. A rotation lock is disposed on the transverse elongated frame component. The rotation lock is configured to prevent rotation of the transverse elongated frame component in a locked configuration.

A child transport carrier includes an upper frame member having a forward end and a rear end and a rear frame coupled to the upper frame member. The rear frame includes a lower rear frame member, an upper rear frame member having an upper end fixedly coupled to the rear end of the upper frame member, and a first joint assembly coupling the lower rear frame member and the upper rear frame member. The rear frame is configured to fold between an unfolded in-use position and a folded storage position. The upper frame member and the upper rear frame member are fixed relative to each other. The first joint assembly is disposed longitudinally rearward of the forward end of the upper frame member and longitudinally forward of the rear end of the upper frame member in the unfolded in-use position.

A child transport carrier includes a handle bar and a rotatable brake actuator disposed around the handle bar. The rotatable brake actuator includes a first portion having a first radius of curvature and a second portion having a second radius of curvature. The first radius of curvature is less than the second radius of curvature. Rotating the rotatable brake actuator around the handle bar activates a first wheel brake.

A transport vehicle including one or more accessory connectors for releasably locking one or more vehicle accessories to the transport vehicle. An accessory connector may releasably lock a first accessory within a first slot defined by the accessory connector and a second accessory within a second slot defined by the accessory connector. In some embodiments, the accessory connector may simultaneously releasably lock the first accessory and the second accessory within the first and second slots, respectively. The accessory connectors facilitate simple, quick, and easy attachment and detachment of vehicle accessories so that the transport vehicle may be easily converted between different modes of use.

A child transport carrier includes a handle bar and a rotatable brake actuator disposed along a lengthwise axis of the handle bar. A first cable having a first end and a second end is coupled to the rotatable brake actuator. A first wheel brake of a first wheel is coupled to the first end of the first cable. Rotating the rotatable brake actuator around the lengthwise axis of the handle bar activates the first wheel brake.

A child transport carrier includes a lower frame member having a forward end and a rear end, an upper frame member having a forward end and a rear end, and a rear frame coupling the lower frame member to the upper frame member. The pivot lock is operated by rotating a portion of the frame of the carriage to unlock the pivot lock, permitting the carriage to be folded to the storage position.

An accessory cross bar for a passenger carrier bicycle trailer comprising a bicycle carrier frame with a coupling arrangement at a front end of the frame for coupling of the bicycle trailer to a bicycle and a push-handle at a rear end of the frame. The accessory cross bar is adapted for horizontal mounting at the rear end of the bicycle trailer frame and has a non-circular cross-section.

A multi-function passenger carrier includes a carrier frame and a passenger compartment within the carrier frame, the passenger carrier including first and second means for attaching a first and a second accessory to the carrier frame. The carrier frame includes a security arrangement having a first blocking arrangement for blocking attachment of the first accessory to the carrier frame, a second blocking arrangement for blocking attachment of the second accessory to the carrier frame, first control means for controlling activation and deactivation of the first blocking arrangement, second control means for controlling activation and deactivation of the second blocking arrangement, a connecting member connecting the first control means with the second control means. The first and second control means are arranged to interact through the connecting member to cause the first blocking arrangement to be activated when the second blocking arrangement is inactivated.

Security arrangement in a multi-function passenger carrier

A foldable passenger carrier, such as an infant stroller, comprising a carrier frame with a frame body and at least one longitudinal frame element comprising a folding hinge with a locking mechanism in the folding hinge. The carrier further comprises a push-handle which is connected to the upper part of the frame body and comprises a handle adjustment hinge with a locking mechanism. The push-handle is foldable towards the forward part of the frame body at the handle adjustment hinge and the longitudinal frame element is foldable in a direction towards the lower part of the frame body at the folding hinge.
