An assembly for multipaned windows and/or doors is fabricated from sashes having a fibrous wool core and a polymeric outer shell. The sash contains a plurality of orifices through the shell, but not the core, to provide a filtered path for air and moisture movement in and out of the cavities between panes to reduce the condensation of moisture on the panes.

Assemblies for windows and doors

Window frames and sashes are molded of fabricated fibrous wool impregnated with a binder and coated with a resin which soaks into the surface to form a strong protective skin.

Window sash and frame molded of fibrous material

A door and frame molded of glass wool and a binder and having polyester resin impregnated into outer surface portions.
