The control arrangement for cooking devices with an embedded control for regulating cooking process whose various parameters can be set by actuating elements at the cooking device is characterized by an external programming unit comprising a hand programming device for setting and storing, independently from the embedded control of the respective cooking devices, different cooking programs, diagnostic programs and user functions which can be called, checked and changed optionally and for transmitting such programs to every embedded control of every optional cooking device.

Control arrangement for cooking devices

In a cooking device having a housing which can be closed by a door, a hinge support in the form of a slide or carriage is guided at one side wall so as to be displaceable at guide rails which are arranged horizontally at the side wall. One part of a hinge arrangement is fastened at the hinge support and the other part of the hinge arrangement is fastened to the door. The hinge support is guided at the guide rail by guide rollers which contact the guide rails in a positive engagement without play. In this way it is possible when opening the door to displace the same into a parallel position alongside the side wall.

Cooking device

A device for heat-treating food items with vapor or a vapor-hot air mixture comprises a cooking chamber, in which food items are treated with vapor from a vapor generator. For cleaning the cooking chamber a squirting or spraying device insertable into the cooking chamber (5) is provided, which is built in the manner of a hand-held shower head and connected to a water connection. This spraying device can be connected to a water pipe present on the equipment, which is required for supplying water users like vapor generator, condensator or cooling device. The spraying device, however, can also be arranged on a water connection--arranged fixedly on the building--located in the vicinity of the device for heat treatment.
