In a high pressure washing apparatus with a spray handle and a flexible hose leading to it, in order to create the possibility of rotation between the hose and the spray handle, it is proposed that the spray handle should display a barrel, for connecting to the hose, into which can be inserted in sealed fashion a hose nipple connected to the hose end, that a bearing surface be provided on the spray handle, against which rests a flange connected with the hose nipple, and thereby preventing the hose nipple from being pulled from the barrel, and that the bearing surface and/or the hose nipple flange surround the hose nipple in ring form, and be rotatable with respect to one another around the longitudinal axis of the hose nipple.

High pressure washing apparatus

In a high-pressure cleaner, in order to control additional equipment, such as chemical doser or burner, from a hand spray gun without any special control lines, it is proposed to connect a second closable flow path in parallel with the normal flow path through the spray nozzle, to determine the pressure rise time in the cleaning fluid after the switching on of the high-pressure pump and to generate a control signal by opening the second flow path to extend said rise time compared with the rise time when the second flow path is closed; furthermore, a high-pressure cleaner is proposed for implementing this process.

Process for controlling a high-pressure cleaner and high-pressure

It is suggested in relation to a coupler for hose lines of high-pressure cleaning equipment and high-pressure spraying equipment comprising a nipple and a connecting piece to be coupled to the latter that the nipple be captured by a sleeve containing catch projections with recesses extending into its interior, that a compression spring be positioned between the inner wall of the sleeve and the nipple, that the connecting piece have on its outer wall outwardly projecting catches with locking lugs which slip into the recesses in the catch projections, and that the compression spring push the locking lugs into the recesses in the catch projections when the connecting piece is inserted into the sleeve.

Coupler for hose lines of high-pressure cleaning and spraying equipment

In a motor-driven pump unit for a high-pressure cleaning apparatus, where the cleaning fluid supplied by the high-pressure pump is conveyed through the housing of the motor so as to cool the motor, in order to improve the cooling characteristics and in order to reduce the dimensions of the motor-driven pump unit it is proposed that a fan wheel, which is driven by the motor and which directs a cooling air stream towards the motor housing, be disposed at the end of the motor opposite the pump, and that the fan wheel and the cooling surfaces of the motor be designed in such a way that an adequate cooling of the motor is achieved by the air stream cooling alone when the pump is not conveying any cleaning fluid to the cleaning apparatus or, in other words, is pumping the cleaning fluid only in circulation.

Motor-driven pump unit for a high-pressure cleaning apparatus

A spray nozzle arrangement is provided for high pressure cleaning apparatus with an outlet nozzle of circular cross-section. A deforming member is arranged downstream of the nozzle and comprises two swing elements having substantially planar faces. The swing elements pivot about a rotary axis perpendicular to the jet. Thus, the two faces can be inclined symmetrically relative to the jet axis so that the region of the faces remote from the outlet nozzle enter the round jet, resulting in a fan-shaped jet.

Spray nozzle arrangements for high pressure cleaning apparatus

A nozzle for spraying a medium under pressure has a selectable form of jet. A knife edge body is rotatably mounted in front of the outlet from the nozzle bore, and has a front knife edge which breaks the jet from the bore into a spray mist when that knife edge is rotated into the jet and a rear knife edge which spreads the jet to a fan-shape when it is rotated into the jet.
