A measuring instrument and a method checks the functional capability of an electric heating wire of a surface heating system before it is installed and indicates damage to the heating wire while it is being installed. The instrument includes a power supply, connecting devices electrically connected to the power supply and to which the free ends of an electric heating wire can be connected such as to form a current circuit on the power supply, a resistance measuring device designed to record the electric resistance of a heating wire connected to the power supply, a display device which displays an electric resistance of a heating wire recorded by the resistance measuring device, and a warning device designed to emit an acoustic signal when the electric resistance of a heating wire recorded by the resistance measuring device strays from a target value range defined by the measuring instrument.

Measuring instrument

A floor drain () comprising a channel body () defining a drain channel () and having a drain opening (), a frame () defining a receiving opening () which can be inserted at least partially into the drain channel () and a cover () that can be inserted into the receiving opening () of the frame (), in particular in the form of a grate, at least one spacer () being provided for adjusting a distance between the channel body () and a substrate and/or for adjusting the distance between the channel body () and the frame (), the at least one spacer () being formed with infinite height adjustment.

Floor drain

An illumination system for defining and lighting around an object positioned on a base such as for example a mirror, includes at least one elongate profile that has a fastening section and a limitation section extending transversely, in particular perpendicularly to the latter, and at least one illuminant that is fastened or can be fastened to the top of the fastening section of the profile a distance away from the limitation section and is formed and positioned such that, in the correctly arranged state, it emits light in the direction of the limitation section.

Illumination system

An illumination system, in particular for illuminating tiled wall protrusions, includes at least one elongate, substantially U-shaped profile that has a base arm and two side arms projecting from the latter and arranged lying opposite one another, the first side arm being made longer than the second arm, at least one illuminant that is fastened or can be fastened within the receiving space defined by the base arm and the two side arms of the profile, and at least one elongate diffusion disc cover fastened or that can be fastened to the profile.

An illumination system for indirectly or directly illuminating an outer edge arrangement of a structure covered in tiles, such as for example a step of a staircase, includes at least one elongate profile that forms a base arm, a decorative arm projecting from a free end of the base arm and the outer surface of which forms a visible decorative surface in the correctly arranged state, and a fastening arm projecting from the other free end of the base arm, arranged opposite the decorative arm, at least one illuminant that is fastened or can be fastened within the receiving space defined by the base arm, the decorative arm and the fastening arm, and at least one elongate diffusion disc cover that can be fixed to the profile.

A profile system for finishing or defining a tile covering provided over a base includes at least one elongate profile that has a fastening arm and a profile section adjoining the latter which has a defining arm extending transversely, in particular at right angles, to the fastening arm and two side arms extending transversely, in particular at right angles to the free ends of the defining arm and arranged lying opposite one another, at least one illuminant that in the correct state is disposed in the receiving space defined by the substantially U-shaped profile section, and at least one elongate diffusion disc cover that can be secured to the profile.

Profile system

Building board for use as a carrier for a surface cladding of ceramic tiles, a stucco, or a thin-layer trowel mortar, on or in buildings, in which on a moisture-resistant and moisture-sealed foam-material core layer, there is glued on both sides a water-resistant paper web or thin plastic web, onto which webs in each case a web of nonwoven fabric or of a knitted or loom-knitted woven fabric is glued.
