A traction battery for a motor vehicle includes a plurality of battery modules. The battery modules of the traction battery are electrically coupled by electrical busbars. Each battery module includes a module housing and battery cells accommodated in the respective module housing. The battery cells of each battery module are electrically coupled. At least one thermally conductive body is arranged between the electrical busbars, which are used to electrically couple the battery modules, and an adjoining housing of the traction battery or an adjoining structural component of a body of the motor vehicle or an adjoining module housing of a battery module.

Traction battery of a motor vehicle

A drive assembly for a motor vehicle includes a drive, a transmission that can be driven by the drive, a drive housing, a transmission housing, and a fastening device. The drive is arranged in the drive housing, and the transmission is arranged in the transmission housing. The drive housing or the transmission housing can be fastened on a carrier by way of the fastening device. The fastening device includes a plurality of vibration dampers and sleeve elements. The sleeve elements surround the vibration dampers.

Drive assembly for a motor vehicle

An electric machine () for a drive train () of a motor vehicle () has a coil arrangement and a rotor mounted rotatably relative to the coil arrangement. A fluid line is connected thermally to at least one component of the electric machine () to supply a cooling fluid () to the electric machine () and to cool the at least one component. A fan () is designed to supply cooling air () to the electric machine for cooling the electric machine (), and a control unit () controls the fan (). The control unit () controls the fan arrangement () and the cooling air supply depending on a speed (n) and/or a torque (M) of the electric machine ().

A bearing cover () has a bearing receiving space () for a bearing () and has a fastening region () for fastening the bearing cover () to a housing body (). The bearing receiving space () of the bearing cover () is decoupled electrically from the fastening region () of the bearing cover () to prevent an undesired flow of electric current across the bearing ().

An arrangement () for driving a wheel of a motor vehicle has an electric machine () and a transmission (). The transmission () is downstream of the electric machine () and is arranged within the electric machine (). A common cooling device () with a cooling water jacket () is utilized for cooling both the electric machine () and the transmission ().

An electric machine is supplied with air for cooling purposes. The electric machine has a housing () with cooling ducts for cooling air. To improve and/or simplify the cooling of the electric machine, air-distributing ducts () are formed in the housing () and emerge from a common air supply duct ().

Electric machine

The invention relates to an electric machine supplied with air for cooling purposes. The air is heated during operation of the electric machine and is removed in the form of exhaust air. The electric machine is equipped with a fan wheel () which is coupled to a rotor of the electric machine. To improve and to simplify the operation of the electric machine, the fan wheel () is designed as a precise steel part with a sensor device () for detecting a rotational speed of the fan wheel () and thereby detecting a rotational speed of the rotor.

The present invention relates to a modular system of a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, having an internal combustion engine () which has a dual-mass flywheel () with a hub (), having a transmission () and having a hybrid module () which has an electric motor (), wherein the transmission () has a transmission input shaft () and the hybrid module () has a hybrid module input shaft (), wherein the transmission () or the hybrid module () can be connected alternatively with its respective input shaft () to the hub () of the dual-mass flywheel (). Particularly flexible production is made possible in this way.

Modular system

A component housing in a motor-vehicle drive train is sealed by pressurization of the housing interior. The component is a hybrid module () comprising at least one electric machine provided between the combustion engine (VM) and the gearing (G) of the motor-vehicle drive train. The pressurization is achieved by a rotating component (R, RA, M, F) of the hybrid module. The rotating component is designed in a manner similar to an impeller of a centrifugal pump. Therefore, rotation of the component builds up a positive pressure (P) on the radially outer region of the rotating component in the region of the housing (GE) in the interior of the hybrid module.

Device for sealing a component housing in a motor-vehicle drive train

A hybrid vehicle has an internal combustion engine, at least one electric drive motor and a starter. The internal combustion engine optionally can be started by the starter or the electric drive motor. However, the internal combustion engine is started by the starter when the vehicle is already being driven by the electric drive motor.
