The present invention, in at least one embodiment, relates to a safety switch with a hold-closed function, having a plunger element, which is held such that it can move, for positive opening and closing of contact elements, at least one locking element for locking and unlocking the plunger element, and a housing. At least one embodiment of the invention also relates to a method for positive opening and closing of contact elements of a safety switch with a hold-closed function, and to the use of a safety switch such as this.

Safety switch having a hold-closed function for positive opening of contact elements; and method for positive opening of contact elements of a safety switch with a locking function

A switch is disclosed, especially a position switch including a coupling for fixing a drive head to the base of a locking ring. The switch provides a technical solution to allow for a reliable operation of the switch and to simultaneously guide potentially damaging force effects from the drive head via the coupling to the housing of the switch. To this end, in at least one embodiment, first, second and third noses are used, which have an arrangement or shape enabling an essentially non-positive force transmission to be carried out. Furthermore, improved or even optimum handling by the user is ensured, especially for replacement of the drive head.

Switch comprising a coupling for fixing to an actuating device

An actuator is disclosed for actuating a safety switch. In at least one embodiment, the actuator includes a fixing element, an actuating element, and a connection arrangement for connecting the elements. A technical method is disclosed which proposes a universally applicable and low-cost activator. To this end, in at least one embodiment, the connection arrangement is implemented with at least one elastic element, which is pretensioned by way of at least one pretensioning element. Due in particular to the internal mounting of the pretensioning element inside the elastic element, a very simple and robust structure of the connection arrangement is achieved.

Actuator for actuating a safety switch

A contact system is disclosed for use in electromechanical switchgear. In at least one embodiment of the invention, a contact system is provided which has a simple constructive design and allows for an especially reliable contact. For this purpose, at least one embodiment of the contact system includes a spring support, an actuating element, and a contact element. The contact element includes a spring area, supported on the spring support, for providing a jump function, an actuator area, actuated by the actuating element, for initiating the jump function, and a contacting area for simultaneously establishing electrical contact with the stationary contact pieces.

Contact system

A position switch is disclosed with a device to generate a magnetic force, with at least a first coil and at least one armature, it being possible to magnetize and move the armature via the first coil. How the magnetic force, particularly at the start of movement of the movable components of the device, can be increased to reduce the necessary power consumption of the first coil, is a focus of at least one embodiment. For this purpose, at least one embodiment of the device to generate a magnetic force includes at least one device to premagnetize the armature. The result includes a series of advantages, e.g. a smaller design, lower power consumption and possible use with multiple different switching units with different counterforces.

Position switch

A housing is disclosed for accommodating electrical components having a housing lower part, having a conductor feed opening and having a housing cover for covering the housing lower part. In at least one embodiment, the housing is intended to provide the possibility of very convenient fitting and dismantling. The conductor feed opening is provided for the purpose of being delimited by the housing lower part and the housing cover in the closed state of the housing. This obviates the need for the careful threading-in operation when installing a cable on an electrical component in the interior of the housing. In addition, the housing cover delimiting the conductor feed opening is provided with first guide elements, which are provided for engaging in the housing lower part.

Housing for accommodating electrical components

A position switch is disclosed, with a plunger. In at least one embodiment, the plunger can be moved, via an actuator, from a rest position to an operating position by way of a first rotatable locking element. A second rotatable locking element is usable to block the first rotatable locking element by way of the plunger. A position switch is specified, which separates the actuating mechanism for a switch unit from the holding-shut mechanism and, in doing so, guarantees reliable holding-shut, which manages with a low number of components. Here, the plunger is designed to contact an active surface of the first locking element in the operating position and to contact an active surface of the second locking element in the rest position. The first locking element is able to block the second locking element by way of the plunger and vice versa.

A contact system needs comparatively little overall space. that the contact system includes a spring element acting on the contact holder, fabricated from an electrically nonconducting material.
