A hydraulic tensioning element for a traction mechanism drive having a cylinder, having an axially movable piston which is guided in the cylinder, a spring element which is arranged between the cylinder and the piston, a pressure space which is formed in the cylinder, and a reservoir, which is formed in the piston, for hydraulic fluid. A valve permits an exchange of the hydraulic fluid between the pressure space and the reservoir as a function of an actuating movement of the piston. The cylinder () has a flanged portion () which reduces a size of its opening, and a free end of the piston () has formed on it an annular section () with a diameter which is larger than the piston diameter.

Hydraulic tensioning element for a traction mechanism drive

A bearing eye for a tensioning system used in flexible drives. For sealing an annular gap between a fixedly positioned support part and a longitudinal bore of the bearing eye a sealing element is provided which encompasses two radially aligned sealing lips. To this end, in the installed state, the sealing lip is respectively supported on a support disc positioned on the support part and the corresponding further sealing lip is supported on a wall of the bearing eye in the region of the installation space.

A tensioner for belts and chains having a housing (1) in which a cylinder (3) containing a slidably guided piston (4) is arranged which piston (4) is supported radially by a guide bush (5), one end of a compression spring (13) engaging the piston (4), while the other end thereof engaging a cylinder base (6) of the cylinder (3), which cylinder base (6) is axially supported on a housing bottom (9) by a self-adjusting bearing (10) whereby, to improve the correction of alignment errors between the cylinder (3) and the piston (4), a plurality of peripherally adjacent raised portions (10) made of a ductile material are arranged between the housing bottom (9) and the cylinder base (6) and are plastically deformable under loading by the spring-loaded cylinder base (6).

Tensioner for belts and chains

A tensioning device for a traction element includes a tensioner arm having a tension roller which is spring-loaded against the traction element. The tensioner arm is rotatably supported relative to a housing by means of a conical sliding bearing exhibiting parallel sliding bearing surfaces which extend concentric to the tensioner arm shaft. A helical torsion spring wound along the tensioner arm shaft and clamped between a support secured on the tensioner arm and a fixed support area exerts an axial force which is introduced into the sliding bearing as a reaction force perpendicular to the sliding bearing surfaces.

Tensioning device for traction means with cone-type sliding bearing

Tensioning device, particularly a belt tensioning device, for the drive of auxiliary aggregates of an internal combustion engine comprising a swivel arm at one end of which a tension roller for the belt is rotatably mounted and whose other end is plugged by means of a hub onto a journal which is parallel to the axis of rotation of the tension roller and arranged in a fixed pot-shaped housing, a spring whose one end is fixed to the swivel arm and whose other end is fixed to the housing and, arranged in the housing, a friction damping members which produces damping forces of differing magnitude for the swivel arm in the two directions of movement and has a fraction lining lying against the housing wall and acted upon by the swivel arm, characterized in that the friction damping members comprises an inner ring fixed to the swivel arm, an outer ring lying against the friction lining and several rolling elements arranged between these rings and disposed in troughs in the rings for rolling movement along ramps.

Fuel assembly storage capsule for storing spent fuel assemblies in water-filled fuel pits, the capsule being formed of a sleeve sealed at the bottom thereof, having an upper opening closable by a cover and having a cross section matching that of a fuel assembly to be received therein, includes a rim formed on the cover and laterally embracing the sleeve in installed condition of the cover, the cover being retained on the sleeve of its own weight exclusively, the inner surface of the sleeve and the cover rim, in installed condition of the cover, under water, defining an annular space filled with air.
