A switch-extender is connected to a measurement system and to several DUTs. It splits a signal from the measurement system into several signals so that the several DUTs receive the same signal and can therefore be tested in parallel. The switch-extender further includes at least one amplifier and/or at least one attenuator for every output port so that every signal has the same signal level no matter what the individual attenuation factor of the signal connectors or of the internal printed circuit board is. Furthermore a method for calibrating the measurement system as well as for the switch-extender and the signal connectors describes how to obtain the needed calibration values both for the downlink path and for the uplink path without changing the signal connector.

A testing front end module for testing a plurality of devices under test (DUT) includes a testing signal interface, a vector signal generator (VSG) coupled to the testing signal interface and configured to generate testing signals upon reception of testing routine signals from a remote controller via the testing signal interface, a vector signal analyzer (VSA) coupled to the testing signal interface and configured to receive testing response signals from a plurality of DUTs and to transmit the received testing response signals to the remote controller via the testing signal interface, a multiplexer/demultiplexer (MUX/DEMUX) coupled to the VSG and the VSA, the MUX/DEMUX being configured to multiplex the received testing response signals and to demultiplex the generated testing signals, and a test device interface coupled to the MUX/DEMUX and configured to couple the testing front end module to the plurality of DUTs.

The invention relates to an electronic assembly comprising a plurality of electronic component groups and a cooling device for cooling the electronic component groups. The cooling device provides a cooling-power distributor. A cooling power of the cooling device can be individually controlled by the cooling-power distributor for every component group. Furthermore, the assembly provides temperature-registering means for every component group for registering a temperature of every component group, and a load-determining device for determining a parameter for every component group which describes the load experienced by a component group on the basis of the temperature registered for this component group. A control unit controls the cooling-power distributor on the basis of the parameters determined for the component groups.

A method and a measuring device for synchronizing measuring channel assemblies are provided. A reference signal is produced by a reference signal source. The reference signal is supplied to the individual measuring channel assemblies of the measuring device. A clock signal generator is used to produce a clock signal at a low frequency, the clock signal generator being connected to each measuring channel assembly by a respective connecting line of the same length. The invention relates to a switching device for the alternate connection of at least one first test port or of a second test port to a measuring-device connection, where the measuring-device connection provides at least one test-signal input. A sine-wave oscillator produces a sine-wave signal of a digitally predetermined frequency f in successive steps by only one multiplication and one addition under control by a clock generator having a clock frequency p. During a first step the value A.sub.(i+l) =A.sub.i +B.sub.i .multidot.k is determined and during a subsequent second step the value B.sub.(i+l) =B.sub.i -A.sub.(i+l) .multidot.k is determined therefrom, A.sub.(i+l) and B.sub.(i+l) being the respective newly calculated values, A.sub.i and B.sub.i being the respective previous values calculated in a preceding step, and k being a factor k=2.multidot.sin (.pi..multidot.f/p) calculated in a computer. The period of the successive steps is selected to be 1/2 p, and for the first step A.sub.(o) =0 and B.sub.(o) =cos (.pi..multidot.f/p) are selected. At least one of the two factors A.sub.(i+l) and B.sub.(i+l) is finally converted to an analog sine-wave signal in a digital-to-analog converter.
