A connecting unit for a sanitary fitting is proposed, said connecting unit having, on one side thereof, plug-in sockets for connection to plug-in nipples of the sanitary fitting. On the opposite side, the connecting unit contains connections for the domestic installation pipes. The sanitary fitting and the connecting unit are connected by plugging in a direction parallel to the wall surface. The connecting unit may contain a flushing pipe which is designed as a continuous bore. When the connecting unit is not yet connected to the sanitary fitting, said flushing pipe can be used to flush out the pipes. Said flushing pipe is stopped from functioning when the connection between the sanitary fitting and the connecting unit is produced.

Connecting unit for sanitary fittings

A mixer cartridge for insertion into the basic body of a fitting contains a bottom making the water connection with the basic body of the fitting. This bottom is guided so as to be displaceable to some extent with respect to the cartridge housing. In the initial state, this bottom is positioned such that the seals present between it and the mixer system are compressed to an extent such that sufficient sealing-off takes place in the case of a low water pressure. It is arranged so as to be displaceable with respect to the cartridge housing in the direction of an increasing compression of these seals. Consequently, in the case of an increasing water pressure, a higher compression of the seals and therefore an increasing sealing action are made possible.

Mixer cartridge

A feed-through for a shower hose contains in the feed-through a securing mechanism, which is configured such that it definitely allows the hose to be pulled out, yet prevents it from being pulled back. In order to release the securing mechanism, a second tug is made on the hose, so that, when it is next pulled back, it can then be pulled inward through the feed-through.

A disk-type valve encompasses both throughput control and a distribution function for distributing water through the valve to one of several outlets. A movable control disk for throughput control is actuated independently of a movable control disk for output selection. Both separately actuated controls cooperate with a joint stationary distribution disk and pressure forcing the movable control disks against the distribution disk can be adjusted and regulated separately. Two actuating elements are disposed around one another as a shaft and sleeve, for actuating the control disks independently.

Shut-off and reversing valve

A cartridge intended for insertion in a sanitary fitting contains a control disk rotated with respect to a fixed distributor disk. The cartridge contains a thermostatic valve. The disk control formed by the two disks constitutes both a quantity control and a switching device between at least two and preferably three outlets.

Cartridge for sanitary appliances

A sanitary fitting such as a wall-mounted installation for a shower area, has a common housing and a rosette or cover plate. The housing and rosette associate control and flow components, including a shower discharge element at the rosette. The shower discharge element, for example, is constructed as a lateral shower that delivers water through the rosette. The fitting has operating or control elements, and in addition to the shower discharge element at the rosette, leads to another discharge outside the housing and outside the rosette, i.e., apart from the fitting.

Thermostatic valve

A protective device for a sanitary fitting contains a covering, which during installation steps is mounted such that outlets of the fitting are sealed in pressure-resistant manner and/or are interconnected. This sealed covering is connected by separable means to a cylindrical skirt, which surrounds the fitting and/or the fitting part. After the installer tests the house plumbing and completes the wall surface, the covering is removed again from the sanitary fitting or the part thereof. As desired, it is also possible to remove the skirt or leave it in the wall. For this purpose the skirt is attached to the sealing part of the covering by easily separated ridges.

Protective device for sanitary fittings

A thermostatic valve contains a control system comprising two disks for the quantity control. One of the two disks is placed in fixed manner in the valve casing, whereas the second disk can be rotated. Each of the two disks contains an inlet opening for cold water and an inlet opening for hot water. These openings are made to coincide to a greater or lesser extent for the quantity control. In addition, each of the control disks contains a subdivided outlet opening for the mixed water leaving the valve. On rotating the valve there is also a modification of the flow cross-section of the outlet opening. This is also brought about by a greater or lesser coincidence of the openings.

A sanitary valve contains an inlet for cold water, an inlet for hot water and two outlets for mixed water. The valve contains a thermostat, which determines the mixed water temperature. For controlling the mixed water quantity leaving the valve a disk control is provided, which simultaneously forms a changeover device between the two outlets. For changeover purposes use is made of the actuator with which the quantity control is also implemented. On turning from the closed position in one direction one outlet is opened, whereas on turning in the opposite direction the other outlet is opened.

Sanitary thermostatic valve

A cartridge for a sanitary fitting contains within a cartridge casing a distributor, which can be rotated with the aid of a control grip. A rotation of the distributor leads to a rotation of a rotatable control disk of a disk control, which is replaceably placed in the cartridge casing. By replacing the disk control or only a single disk of the disk control, the valve characteristics can be modified. The cartridge has a compact construction and can be adapted to different functions.

Cartridge for sanitary fittings

A thermostatic valve contains a control system, which can be actuated by a single operating member. It produces a connection between a cold water inlet and a hot water inlet on the one hand and a mixed water outlet on the other. The control system can in particular have two control disks, whereof one is constructed as a fixed control disk and the other as a rotatable control disk in contact therewith. The control system is designed in such a way that on opening initially only cold water flows out of the outlet. This is achieved in that a direct connection is formed between the cold water inlet and the mixed water outlet. Only on further opening the valve is it ensured that the direct connection is closed, so that the cold water must then flow through the thermostatic valve.

Mixing fitting with single lever operation

A safety device for a sanitary equipment contains a reversing element, which reverses the water flow between two water passages located in a fitting housing. A temperature-sensitive element acts on the reversing element in such a way that when the latter reaches a given temperature limit it switches into one of the two positions of the reversing valve, said position being called the safety position. The water outlet associated with this safety position can e.g. be a bath outlet, which represents for the user a lower safety risk through the hot water than a shower.

Safety device for sanitary equipment

A sanitary fitting contains in a common basebody thereof a flow control valve and a thermostatic valve. The flow control valve contains a valve for the cold water and a valve for the hot water. These valves are arranged upstream of the thermostatic valve in the direction of flow. Both valves are actuated by a common control valve. In addition, the flow control valve may be used for selecting several outlets.

A sanitary valve contains a valve housing with a fixed control surface and a hot water intake. In the valve housing is provided a control element, which controls the water quantity leaving the valve. According to the invention the sanitary valve contains a scalding protection, which is arranged and constructed on the control element in such a way that on exceeding a predetermined temperature it reduces or prevents the passage of water through a hot water-carrying opening.
