The present embodiments related to a device having a device element to which a high voltage can be applied. The device is provided with at least one additional conducting element which is disposed, embodied and connected in such a way that the element is assigned a defined potential value and a change to the electric field generated by the high voltage in the sense of a more favorable field distribution is effected by means of position, shape and potential value. According to the invention, maximum loads on switching elements are avoided and undesirable phenomena such as voltage breakdowns or flow voltages are counteracted as a result of the more favorable field distribution.

Potential control for high-voltage devices

A computer tomography device is provided. The computer tomography device includes a rotating part and a stationary part. The rotating part has an X-ray tube for radiographing an object to be examined with X-rays and a detector for detecting the X-rays transmitted through the object. A stationary part has a data processing device for evaluating the detected measuring results, and a transmitter for supplying the X-ray tube and/or the detector and other rotating consumers with supply voltage by contactless transmission of electric power between the stationary and the rotating part. The transmitter is designed for contactless data transmission between the stationary part and the rotating part in addition to the contactless transmission of electrical power.

The invention relates to a gantry for an x-ray device. According to the invention at least one screening device used to reduce interactions with electromagnetic disturbance fields is provided for the at least one transmitter for the non-contact power or signal transmission between a stationary part and a rotatable part of the gantry.

Gantry for an X-ray device

The disclosed, embodiments relate to a high-voltage supply () for an X-ray device. The X-ray device comprises an X-ray tube () and a high voltage generator(), for generation of the high voltage necessary for operating the X-ray tube (). The high voltage supply () comprises electrically-conducting lines (), for the connection of the high voltage generator to the X-ray tube (). Each of the lines () comprises one end which may be connected to the high voltage generator () and a further end which may be connected to the X-ray tube (). At least one end of at least one of the lines () may be connected to an electrical terminal resistor () which may be arranged between the line () and the high voltage generator (), or between the line () and the X-ray tube ().

High-voltage supply for an X-ray device

A resonant circuit inverter has an LC series resonant circuit and a switching device for connecting the resonant circuit with periodically alternating polarity to a dc voltage source, the switching device feeding a high voltage transformer. The resonant circuit inverter further includes an interstage transformer having a primary winding serving as the inductance in the LC resonant circuit and having a secondary winding connected to the primary winding of the high voltage transformer, the high voltage transformer having a secondary winding at which the load voltage is tapped.
