An immersion objective for a light microscope with a first lens group including a first and second lenses, with a third lens arranged behind the first lens group, a first air gap between the first lens group and the third lens, with a second lens group behind the third lens and including fourth, fifth and sixth lenses, a second air gap formed the third lens and the second lens group, and a third lens group behind the second lens group including seventh, eighth and ninth lenses. Tenth, eleventh and twelfth lens are provided behind the third lens group. For correction of aberrations a fourth air gap is formed between the third lens group and the tenth lens, a fifth air gap is formed between the tenth lens and the eleventh lens and a sixth air gap is formed between the eleventh lens and the twelfth lens.

Immersion objective and light microscope

A device for attaching a first optical microscope component part to a second part includes an annular receptacle attached to the second part and an annual insertion part. The annular insertion part includes outside-conical retaining projections. The receptacle includes a base ring having a retaining collar with an inside cone tapering away from the base ring and in which a lateral opening is formed, through which the insertion part can be inserted in the receptacle such that it is located on a pre-locking position in which the annular openings overlap. The insertion part and the receptacle can be moved by reciprocal rotation from the pre-locking position into a locking position in which the outside-conical retaining projections of the insertion part are seated against the inside cone of the retaining collar and press the insertion part on the base ring, whereby the insertion part is locked to the receptacle.

Attachment of optical microscope components

A calibration device for managing a variety of performance tests and/or calibration tasks in a laser scanning microscope. The calibration device, which has focusing optics and a test structure arranged in the focal plane of the focusing optics, with structural elements detectable in reflected and/or transmitted light aligned to each other in a common mounting, can be switched into the microscope beam path in a laser scanning microscope, so that the pupil of the focusing optics coincides with the objective pupil of the laser scanning microscope or lies in a plane conjugated to it.

The invention relates to a microscope objective with preferably anti-symmetric lenses or lens groups with an optical magnification of &#x2212;100 and a visual field factor of 20. According to the invention the microscope objective consists of 9 lenses with 3 cemented elements, starting from the object side (left), a lens which is almost a hemisphere Lwith positive refractive power, a meniscus lens Lwith positive refractive power, a two-part cemented element Gwith positive refractive power, another two-art cemented element Gwith positive refractive power, a two-part cemented element Gwith negative refractive power, and finally a meniscus lens Lwith negative refractive power. By using cemented elements and lens pairings of the same construction, production costs can be reduced compared with methods of the prior art while image contrast is improved.

Microscope objective

An immersion microscope objective includes a system of several optical lenses or lens groups between which air spaces are provided and an adjusting device for adapting the immersion microscope objective to different immersion mediums for correcting imaging errors when utilizing the immersion microscope objective in connection with a cover glass, which closes off a specimen holder, and/or for correcting longitudinal chromatic aberrations. The adjusting device is configured to change two air spaces and especially the air spaces (A, A) are linearly changeable.

Immersion microscope objective

A microscope objective having at least four lenses or groups of lenses and which can be used to improve image contrast. According to the invention, a phase plate, aligned concentrically to the optical axis, can be integrated into and taken out of the air space between the first lens and the second lens, as viewed from the object side. The defined arrangement of the phase plate and the associated shift of the real pupil into the air space between the first two lenses or groups of lenses, respectively, of the microscope objective allows a microscope objective, initially designed as a bright-field variant, to be redesigned as a phase contrast variant with relative ease.

The invention is directed to an arrangement for regulating the temperature of the sample space of a microscope, preferably for observing cells (live cell imaging) with an objective turret carrying objectives, a sample holder serving to receive a sample, a heating or cooling insert with an incubator hood for managing the temperature of the sample holder, and an objective heating element or objective cooling element. According to the invention, at least one structural component part which blocks the heating flow or cooling flow is provided between the objective heating element or objective cooling element and the objective turret.

Arrangement for regulating the temperature of the sample space of a microscope
