The torque coupling has a shaft, a hollow shaft and a plurality of levers. The bearings of the levers are non-rotatably connected to the shaft and the levers are spring-loaded so as to be pressed against the hollow shaft. The levers are bent from a steel strip.

Dowel

A dowel including an anchor rod (2; 22) having a load application element at one of its longitudinal ends and a head (3; 23), a diameter of which increases toward the free end of the anchor rod, at its opposite end, an expansion sleeve (4; 24) having a bore through which the anchor rod (2; 22) extends and a plurality of expansion tabs (5; 25) separated from each other by longitudinal slots (6; 26) and extending from a circumferential groove (7) toward the head (3; 23), the expansion tabs (5; 25) expanding radially, upon the expansion sleeve (4; 24) being displaced over the head (3; 23), and a substantially ring-shaped member (8; 28) arranged in the circumferential groove (7) and substantially filling out the circumferential groove (7; 27) in an expanded condition of the expansion tabs (5; 25).

Undercut-engaging dowel

A setting tool for anchoring a spreading anchor having an anchor rod (1) and an expansion sleeve (4), the setting tool including a sleeve-shaped body (8) having an axial blind bore (11) opening at an end surface (13) and a lead-in surface (10) for receiving axial impacts, and provided at a rear end of the sleeve-shaped body (8) remote from the end surface (13) at which the blind bore (11) opens, and a marking element (17) arranged in a bottom (15) of the axial blind bore (11) of the sleeve-shaped body (8) for forming a permanent mark in a rear end surface (3) of the anchor rod (1) at the end of a setting process.

An undercut self-cutting anchor including an anchor rod (2) having a stem(3) provided with a load application element (4) at its rear end and with a head portion (5) at its opposite end, with the head portion (5) widening toward a front end (6) of the anchor rod (2), and an expansion sleeve (8) longitudinally displaceable over the head portion (5) and having, at its end adjacent to the head portion (5), a plurality of expansion tabs (11), which are separated from each other by longitudinal slots (10) and extending in a direction toward the head portion (5), and a plastic hinge-forming transition region (13) extending toward the expansion tabs (11), with a wall thickness (t) of the expansion sleeve (8) in the transition region (13) decreasing in a direction toward a front end (9) of the expansion sleeve.

Undercut self-cutting anchor

A spreading anchor including an anchor rod (2) having, at its one end, a cone-shaped head portion (3) widening in a setting direction and, at its opposite end, a load application element, the anchor further including a sleeve (5, 16) surrounding the anchor rod (2) and having at its end adjacent to the head portion (3), an expansion section (7, 17) formed of a plurality of expansion tabs (9, 18) separated from each other by axially extending slots (8), and extending form a plastic hinge (11) in a direction toward the head portion (3), the expansion tabs (9) expanding radially upon relative displacement of the sleeve (5, 16) and the head portion (3), and the expansion tabs (9) having convexly curved, in the direction toward the head portion (3) free front edges (10, 19), with convexly curved free front edges (10, 19) of the expansion tab (9) forming, in a completely expanded position of the expansion tabs (9, 18), substantially arc sections of a circle (R).

Spreading anchor

A self-cutting, undercutting dowel (1) is formed of an axially extending anchor rod (2) with a head part (3) leading in a setting direction (S) of the dowel and an axially extending sleeve (5) laterally enclosing the anchor rod (2). At its end facing in the setting direction, the sleeve (5) has expansion sections (7) separated from one another by axially extending slots (6). The sleeve (5) can be driven over the head part (3) relative to the anchor rod (2) so that the expansion sections (7) flare radially outwardly. At least one of the expansion sections (7) has a tooth shape at its end facing in the setting direction forming a cutting edge (10) for cutting an undercut in a receiving material for the dowel. The cutting action is effected by rotating the sleeve (5). The cutting edge (10) is located at a side edge (11) of the expansion section (7) leading in the rotating direction (R) of the sleeve (5) and the cutting edge is inclined to an axis (A) of the sleeve at a first angle (.alpha.). The expansion section (7) with the cutting edge (10) has a trailing side edge (12) inclined relative to the axis (A) of the sleeve (5) at a second angle (.beta.). The sum of the two angles (.alpha.,.beta.) is less than 160.degree..

Self-cutting undercutting dowel

A manually operable tool, such as a hammer drill, for drilling and/or removing material in at least one of brittle material and low ductile material, has a continuously rotatable chuck (8) and a motor driven striking mechanism (1) for transmitting impulse-like blows to a tool bit (9) held in the chuck (8). The tool includes members (5) for transmitting impulse-like blows composed of superimposed axially-directed blows and torsional blows to the tool bit (9) in the chuck for forming drilling blows. Further, an adaptor can be provided for attachment to the hammer drill containing the members (5) for affording the superimposed blows.

Manually operable tool for drilling and/or removing material in brittle

An expansion dowel including an expansion sleeve one end portion (4) of which receives a load and an opposite portion of which has an expansion region divided into expansion tabs by a plurality of longitudinal slots (7) extending toward a leading end of the expansion sleeve (2), with the expansion tabs (6) being connected with the expansion sleeve (2) by a first ductile joint (5) and having an annular collar (8) interrupted by the longitudinal slots (7), and an expansion member (13) displaceable in an axial through-bore (3) of the expansion sleeve (2) from an initial position to an end position upon expansion of the expansion region of the expansion sleeve (2), with the expansion tabs (6) projecting beyond the annular collar (8) and integrally connected with a distance segment (10) of the expansion sleeve (2), which distance segment collapses radially inward upon expansion of the expansion tabs.

Expansion dowel

A device for locking steel reinforcing or prestressing members (15) in a positive manner in an anchorage (14) includes an axially extending cylindrical anchoring sleeve (1) with a throughbore (2) and a deformation section (3) extending from a leading end in the setting direction (S) and divided by axially extending slots (4) into at least six bending elements (5). An expanding element (8) with a throughbore (9) free of threads has a contact surface (10) for the bending elements (5) and the contact surface is inclined relative to the axis A of the anchoring sleeve (1). The expanding element (8) can be displaced against the deformation section (3) for spreading the bending elements (5) radially outwardly against the receiving surface of a receiving bore in a base material forming the anchorage. The contact surface (10) forms an angle (.alpha.) with the axis (A) of the anchoring sleeve (1) in a range of approximately 30.degree. to 80.degree.. The axial length of the bending elements is dimensioned, so that the outside diameter of the leading end of the deformation section in the anchored state amounts to 140%, at a maximum, of such diameter in the unexpanded state. The securement of the anchoring sleeve (1) is achieved by a positive lock in an undercut formed in the receiving bore in the base material.
