The block copolymer dispersant includes a first block and a second block where the second block is formed using at least one monomer M, which monomer Mis selected from the group consisting of a methacrylate and an acrylate, and where the monomer Mis an anchoring monomer for anchoring to the pigment.

A digital printing process for inkjet printing on a recording medium using ink including a carrier liquid and a colorant, in particular on a recording medium which is configured not to absorb the carrier liquid or to absorb only a portion of the carrier liquid during the inkjet printing. The process includes the steps of: jetting ink on the recording medium; bringing one or more continuously rotating members in rotational contact with the jetted ink on the recording medium such that a colorant-poor portion of the ink is adsorbed to the one or more rotating members and a colorant-rich portion remains on the recording medium. The colorant-rich portion includes more colorant than said colorant-poor portion. The process further includes continuously removing said colorant-poor portion of the one or more continuously rotating members.

Apparatus and method for inkjet printing on flexible webs

A digital printing process for xerography printing with curable dry toner. The process includes: forming a latent image as a pattern of electric charge on a surface of an imaging member; transferring dry toner onto a development member; developing the latent image by transferring dry toner from the development member onto the imaging member in accordance with the pattern; transferring the dry toner from the imaging member to a first substrate; applying a second substrate on the transferred dry toner, fusing the transferred dry toner, and bonding the second substrate to the first substrate. The fusing is done before and/or during and/or after the applying of the second substrate. After application of the second substrate, the dry toner is irradiated with actinic radiation or particle beams to cure at least the fused transferred dry toner. The irradiating is done after and/or during the fusing.

A digital printing process for xerography printing with liquid toner is disclosed, said liquid toner including a curable carrier liquid and imaging particles suspended in the carrier liquid. The process includes: forming a latent image as a pattern of electric charge on a surface of an imaging member; transferring the liquid toner onto a development member; developing the latent image by transferring liquid toner from the development member onto the imaging member in accordance with the pattern; transferring the liquid toner from the imaging member to a first substrate; applying a second substrate on the transferred liquid toner; after application of the second substrate, irradiating the liquid toner with actinic radiation or particle beams to cure the carrier liquid.

A radiation curable dry toner includes core-shell toner particles. The core-shell toner particles have an average volume-based diameter between 5 and 10 micrometre, and a core-shell toner particle thereof includes an inner portion having a radiation curable first resin material consisting of at least 90 weight %, preferably at least 95 weight %, of the total amount of resin material of the inner portion; an outer shell surrounding said inner portion, said outer shell including a second resin material, said second resin material being any one of the following: cured first resin material; or a resin material which is different from the first resin material.

A digital printing system includes a development member in rotational contact with a further member for imagewise transferring liquid toner from the development member optionally via the further member to a substrate. The system is such that toner residue remains on the development member after the transfer. A treatment device is present for patternwise treatment of the toner residue on the development member, especially by addition of a dispersing agent to facilitate removal of the toner residue. A controller is present for controlling the patternwise treatment. A system is used for robust and continuous printing and is suitable for recycling of the toner residue into liquid toner.

Disclosed is a liquid toner dispersion which has a relative low shear viscosity between 1.25 and 225 and a relative conductivity between 0.3 and 30. A liquid toner dispersion provided with marking particles comprising a pigment and a polyester based resin. The dispersion includes a nonpolar organic solvent and a hyperdispersant including a graft copolymer provided with an anchor group including an amine-functionalized polymer onto which at least one stabilizing group is grafted. The stabilizing group includes a hydroxylated fatty acid oligomer. The amine-functionalized polymer has a weight-average molecular weight of less than 1000 g/mol.
