The prechamber is fluidically connectable to the combustion chamber via the first and second connecting conduits such that a mixture of fuel and air is introducible out of the combustion chamber and into the prechamber. The first connecting conduit has, on an end opposite the prechamber and via which the mixture of fuel and air is introducible into the first connecting conduit, a first partial region extending in a peripheral direction of the first connecting conduit and having a bevel, and has a second partial region connected to the first partial region in the peripheral direction and extending in the peripheral direction of the first connecting conduit and in which the first connecting conduit is free of a bevel.

A pre-chamber spark plug for a combustion chamber of a combustion engine includes a pre-chamber which has a plurality of openings and an electrode device which is disposed in the pre-chamber. An ignition spark for igniting a fuel-air mixture introduced into the pre-chamber is generatable at a spark location in the pre-chamber by the electrode device. The pre-chamber spark plug is configured to bring about a tumble-shaped flow of fuel-air mixture flowing into the pre-chamber via the plurality of openings. The tumble-shaped flow has, in a first region of the pre-chamber, a first flow part pointing upward away from the plurality of openings, and, in a second region of the pre-chamber, a second flow part adjoining the first flow part and pointing downward in a direction of the plurality of openings. The spark location is disposed at least in part in the second region.

An internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle includes a combustion chamber in which a first tumble-shaped current of a fuel-air mixture is settable. A pre-chamber spark plug is allocated to the combustion chamber which has a pre-chamber which is fluidically connected to the combustion chamber via a plurality of openings where via the plurality of openings a part of the fuel-air mixture flows out of the combustion chamber and into the pre-chamber. The plurality of openings are formed such that the part of the fuel-air mixture that flows into the pre-chamber via the plurality of openings has a second tumble-shaped current where the second tumble-shaped current is opposite to the first tumble-shaped current.

Each of the plurality of openings has a respective flow cross section through which the fuel/air mixture is flowable. With respect to an imaginary plane running along an imaginary axis of the pre-chamber and dividing the pre-chamber into a first half and a second half of equal size, a sum of the flow cross sections of first openings disposed in the first half is greater than a sum of the flow cross-sections of second openings disposed in the second half.

A pre-chamber spark plug has a pre-chamber which has openings, where, with respect to a first plane running in the longitudinal direction of the pre-chamber and dividing the pre-chamber into two halves of equal size, first openings are disposed in a first of the halves and second openings are disposed in a second of the halves. The first openings are spaced apart from a second plane running in the longitudinal direction of the pre-chamber and extending perpendicular to the first plane by a first angle in the circumferential direction of the pre-chamber. The second openings are spaced apart from the second plane by a second angle in the circumferential direction of the pre-chamber. The mean value of the first angles is smaller than the mean value of the second angles.
