In a transmission control device with a control unit, to eliminate a tooth-on-tooth position in a transmission shifting unit, a transmission clutch is adjusted to a nominal clutch value. In at least one operating mode, the control unit is designed to specify a prescribed clutch value, which is independent of any intermediate clutch value setting.

Gearshift device

A motor vehicle transmission device is described. The transmission has an actuating unit, used for canceling a tooth-on-tooth position of coupling elements, wherein the actuating unit actuates a transmission brake when the tooth-on-tooth position is detected. The transmission also has a second actuating unit for actuating a disconnect clutch, the second actuating unit actuating the disconnect clutch when the tooth-on-tooth position is detected. The actuating unit for actuating the transmission brake and the second actuating unit for actuating the disconnect clutch are actuated in coordination with one another, in order to cancel the tooth-on-tooth position.

In a control for a motor vehicle transmission having a clutch and means for establishing and/or releasing an engagement of a toothing or of jaws of the motor vehicle transmission including a control unit for actuating the clutch for transmitting a torque to a first component of the toothing, the control unit being adapted, for the purpose of releasing a tooth-on-tooth position of the toothing, to briefly provide a control signal for adjusting the clutch to a desired clutch position (K) in order to generate a torque pulse, the control unit determining a reaction of the motor vehicle transmission in response to the control signal from the control unit and adapting the desired clutch position (K) as a function of the reaction.

In a method for controlling, and a control device of, an automated non-synchromesh multi-speed motor vehicle transmission, wherein, upon selection of a target gear, a form-fitting connection is to be established between shift elements of the target gear, wherein, however, with a certain rotational speed difference between the shift elements which causes chattering, no engagement takes place during actuation of the shift actuator for the target gear, when, upon monitoring, a certain chattering of the shift elements is detected, and, as a result, the engagement of the target gear is aborted in order to prevent the transmission from being damaged.

Method for controlling, and a control device of, an automated, non-synchromesh multispeed motor vehicle transmission

A method for operation of a drive train having a drive machine and an automatic, unsynchronized gearwheel variable-speed transmission, which can be connected to the drive machine by using an automatic clutch is described. A control device carries out a selection process as a function of vehicle parameters and/or operating variables of the motor vehicle to determine whether a gear change of the unsynchronized gearwheel variable-speed transmission will be carried out with the clutch engaged or disengaged. To ensure reliable operation of the motor vehicle, a gear change is carried out with the clutch disengaged in a time interval after initial starting up of the drive train and/or after starting of the drive machine and/or when a malfunction is identified in a component in the drive train.

Method for controlling a drive train

In a method for operating a drive train having a drive motor and an automated variable speed transmission, in selected situations, such as when there is a change in the gear speed of the variable speed transmission, it is advantageous to calculate the profile of the rotational speed of the drive motor in advance. For this purpose, pre-stored profile parameters (for example in the form of gradient values when changes in rotational speed are requested) are corrected as a function of a requested difference in rotational speed. Alternatively, in addition to a corrected gradient it is possible to calculate a corrected reaction times, and to carry out the calculation in advance by means of these variables. The reaction time is obtained as a time difference between actuation of a significant change in a state variable (for example a rotational speed) of the drive train. If no previously stored values are available, changes in rotational speed can be requested and the resulting gradients and/or reaction times can be stored.

Method for operating a drive train of a motor vehicle

An arrangement with a torque-controlled gearbox, for which the torque present on the transmission driving shaft is measured with a non-contacting torque sensor and the torque sensor supplies a measuring signal, which is fed to the gear control unit as a variable for the correct shifting moment. With a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine, the drive output of the combustion engine is transmitted to the crankshaft, and the torque present at the crankshaft is transmitted via a clutch and an intermediate gear to the transmission drive shaft, from there to an output drive shaft, and finally via a differential gear to the drive wheels of the motor vehicle. The torque sensor detects the torque actually present at the transmission drive shaft and feeds the measuring signal proportional to this torque to a gear control unit. The arrangement advantageously permits a torque-free shifting of gears in the gearbox, which can thus be carried out comfortably.

A method for controlling a gear unit of a motor vehicle having synchronizing devices. When an actuating device of a synchronizing device is controlled in terms of force or travel, strongly differing wear behavior occurs depending on use. The inclination of the travel path or the shifting frequency is detected during operation of the motor vehicle and a characteristic diagram is used in order to adapt the shifting force to the information item obtained.
