A database contains variants of protocols for the operation of magnetic resonance tomographs as well as different types of magnetic resonance tomographs. Each variant contains parameter values and is associated with one of the types. In a training phase, relationships are determined between the parameters among one another and/or between the parameters and the associated types and are stored as patterns in a knowledge base. A protocol plan for the operation of a new magnetic resonance tomograph is created later in an application phase using the determined pattern. The method offers the advantage that the efficiency and quality of the automatic conversion of the protocols is improved. The improved quality of the protocol plan reduces operating time and costs for a manual post-processing of the protocols. Furthermore, a higher consistency of the protocols among one another is achieved both between product families and between individual configurations.

Method to configure an imaging device

A predefined operating strategy permits a predefined operating mode of the motor vehicle. A first operating variable value of the operating mode and/or one additional variable value, which is independent of the operating mode are sensed and one estimated value is determined depending thereon, which is representative of one expected value of the one first operating variable of a second operating variable of the operating mode. One predicted value is determined depending on the sensed values of the one first operating variable, the one additional variable, and/or the one determined estimated value. The predicted value represents an expected operating state and is compared with one predefined comparison value, which is representative of one predefined operation state. The operating strategy is set as a function of the comparison and of the at least one estimated variable in such a way that the predefined operating state is as far as possible avoided.

Method and device for operating a motor vehicle

A method and an apparatus for ventilating at least one window in a vehicle by blowing and extracting air in a region of the window is described. The airflow blown against the window is substantially laminar and the air is extracted in an upper region of the window. A dew point is lower than the window temperature in a region of extraction being the upper region of the window, and an absolute humidity of the blown air is lower than that of the extracted air.

Method and apparatus for ventilating at least one window in a vehicle

A controller has characteristic diagram memories and a fuzzy system which detects operating parameters of a motor vehicle and sets a transmission ratio with the aid of the characteristic diagram memory. A driver inputs plus and minus gear shift instructions via an input device. The driver instructions are evaluated during a driving operation by an adaptation circuit, and the shifting behavior of a transmission is adapted to a desired shifting behavior.

Controller for an automatic motor vehicle transmission

Motor vehicle sensor signals are evaluated by a fuzzy system, which generates control signals for a system device of the motor vehicle&mdash;for example an automatic transmission, active suspension, speed stabilization, power-steering assistance, or traction control. The fuzzy system is connected to a neural network, which evaluates the sensor signals and reference data from a recording of driving data of the motor vehicle. The neural network optimizes the rule base of the fuzzy system. During a driving operation, the fuzzy system generates on-line signals categorizing the respective driving situation, and thus makes possible intelligent, time-adaptive, driving-situation-dependent control. The fuzzy system and the neural network each contain a classification system which can be reciprocally converted by a correspondence-maintaining bidirectional transformation.

Circuit configuration for controlling a running-gear or drive system in a motor vehicle

The device contains an electronic control system, which, in an automatic mode, automatically determines the transmission ratio in dependence of an operating condition, and contains selector devices, which, in the automatic mode, determine the driving stages of the transmission control and, in a manual mode, change the transmission ratio in steps. After a manual selection of the transmission ratio, driving and operating situations in which the automatic mode of the control system is desirable are detected and, if such a situation is detected, a return circuit causes the electronic control system to return to the automatic mode.
