A captive screw closure with a tamper-evident band and a screw cap captively connected thereto is disclosed. The screw closure includes an outer surface with an internal thread and an upper surface. The mechanical strain on the retaining bands are substantially reduced. This is achieved by the screw closure having at least one pulling element which permits a pure axial longitudinal movement of the screw cap to the tamper-evident band in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the screw closure. The screw closure includes a pivoting element, in particular a pivoting plate, connected either fixedly or pivotably to the tamper-evident band. The pivoting element, in particular the pivoting plate, is detachably connected to the screw cap. The pivoting element, in particular the pivoting plate, may be connected to the screw cap in a fixed but pivotable manner.

A larynx mask is provided that comprises a dorsal cover plate with an inflatable cuff integrally formed thereon and a tube connecting connector having an insertion section for connecting to an insertion tube. Two separate lumens are provided in the region of the insertion section, these being the esophageal lumen and a respiration lumen. These two lumens are separated from each other by a separating and supporting, wall. The separating and supporting wall extends from the insertion section to the tip of the larynx mask. While the esophageal lumen opens into an esophageal outlet at the proximal end of the mask, the respiration lumen opens in the ventral direction and is closed in the proximal direction close to the tip of the mask. Such a larynx mask is produced in one piece by way of injection of molding and is reinforced by the separating or supporting wall to prevent kinking.

Especially during emergencies, there is a need for laryngeal mask heads with a ventral respiration chamber that has a cuff which surrounds the respiration chamber and which can be adjusted in size without having to be inflated. To meet said need, the laryngeal mask head comprises non-pneumatic structures to adjust the size of the mask head in the medial-lateral direction and the ventral-dorsal direction, which are preferably implemented by open, resilient channels extending in the same direction as the cuff.

Thus far, it has not been possible to produce laryngeal masks having a supraglottic tube as a one-piece unit. If the supraglottic tube () is provided with three lumens (), the center one () of which has no passage to the respiration space (), a solution is proposed. What is proposed is that the center guide lumen is provided with a longitudinal slit () extending from the distal end () to the laryngeal mask head (). A connecting web can be attached between two cores or sliders forming the lumens, generating the desired stability in order to maintain the pressing power tool state without deformation.

A supraglottic tube is provided, which despite certain softness has high compressive strength in the proximal distal direction and an adjustable radius of curvature. The supraglottic tube includes at least three lumens. A guiding lumen is located between a respiration lumen and a esophageal lumen. The lumens are separated from each other by separating walls. A guiding means, which includes a pressure element and a tractive element, is located in the guiding lumen. A tractive force can be applied to the tractive element by way of a feed connector and an adjustment unit, in which the pressure element is supported, whereby the radius of curvature of the supraglottic tube can be adjusted.

A larynx mask () includes a cover plate () having a peripheral cull () adjoining thereon and is provided with a tube insertion connector () at the proximal end, while the tip () has a special design at the distal end. The cover plateends in the region of the tip on the cuff, or even before that, and the esophageal passage () runs as an open channel () over a constricted region (') of the cuff (). Said channel preferably includes a widening () and is delimited on both sides by reinforcement means (), which are preferably formed by reinforcing walls (&#x2032;) or additionally as reinforcing ribs (&#x2033;). Said design of the lead-through of the esophageal passage results in a considerable reinforcement of the proximal tip of the larynx mask and therefore counteracts possible kinking of the tip ().

An application device for bone substitute material is disclosed. A cylinder contains a piston rod having an elastically deformable piston. The cylinder is closed via an attachment, through which a wetting liquid phase can be inserted via an injection opening. After a period of time, the wetted bone substitute material is compressed, with excess liquid phase being pressed out through drainage openings. Thereafter, the attachment can be removed and if applicable discharging takes place through a curved discharge nozzle, with the piston being able to adapt itself to the curvature with the benefit of total emptying of the device.

A plastic closure including a bottom part and a lid that has an annular retaining bead in the bottom part. A disk having a support surface is held positively or non-positively in the bead. The disk includes one or more through-passages, which open into a chamber. A thixotropic fluid present in a flexible container reaches the chamber through the through-passages, where the fluid performs a directional change from axial to radial and after a second directional change from radial to axial flows out through the spout opening, wherein a constriction between the two directional changes accelerates the flow.

A plastic closure for dispensing thixotropic fluids from a flexible bottle. The closure has a bottom part including a cover surface with a spout opening Beneath the cover surface a support surface in which several axially extending through-passages are disposed, which are radially offset relative to the spout opening. The support surface includes partial elements in the form of tongues, which are integrally formed on an annular jacket wall by way of integral hinges which engage in a pin in the installed state. This results in a closure that can be manufactured particularly inexpensively, is simple to install, and can be produced in one piece.

An apparatus for opening sealed packaging, including three parts, a pouring nozzle having a flange, a cylindrical cutting element and a screwcap. According to this invention, all three parts of the apparatus are produced in one piece as a semi-finished product. The teeth of the cutting element protrude into the pouring nozzle, while the screwcap is held on the flat edge of the cutting element. The three parts are connected to one another via predetermined breaking point bridges. This invention reduces the production costs and simplifies the assembly and the systems which are required for this purpose.

Metering devices, particularly for adhesives and sealants, that can be placed on a flexible container by means of an adapted ring, a lever being connected to the ring, and pressing against the container, are known. The invention relates to a metering device whereon the lever is connected to the ring via a deformable spring plate. A push button is formed onto the lever as an extension. Thus, the one-piece metering device is inexpensive and can be produced without needing to be assembled.

A semi-finished product for the rational manufacture and assembly of a two-part closure of a spout element and of a screw cap. The spout element and the screw cap are manufactured as one piece in a coherent manner via breakage bridges. Tooling costs for injection mold tools are thus saved, and the assembly of the closure of the semi-finished product is simplified because of the defined, radial alignment of both parts.
