A pedestrian warning device for an electrically drivable motor vehicle has a warning sound generator and a warning sound controller that is configured to control the warning sound generator to make same generate, when the vehicle reverses or advances slowly, a warning sound perceptible by persons in the surroundings of the motor vehicle. The warning sound controller is configured to adapt the warning sound.

A method for detecting an eminent drive of at least one rear wheel of an electrically driven rear axle of a motor vehicle over a milled edge during a forward drive is provided. For this purpose, the motor vehicle has a vertical position sensor system on the front axle. Changes in the vertical position of at least one front wheel or the front axle are forwarded to a controller which limits the torque power that can be requested from the electric drive unit of the rear axle in the event of changes in the vertical position which exceed a specific threshold.

An apparatus for operating an electric machine of a vehicle during a recuperation process is provided. The vehicle includes a first electric machine which is coupled to a first axle of the vehicle, and a second electric machine which can be coupled to a second axle of the vehicle. The apparatus is configured to determine, on the basis of sensor data from one or more sensors in the vehicle, whether the second electric machine should be used to recuperate electric energy during a recuperation process in addition to the first electric machine. The apparatus is also configured, depending on this determination, to operate the second electric machine during the recuperation process in order to recuperate electric energy.

A control unit for a motor vehicle which includes at least one electric machine for driving one or more wheels of the vehicle and at least one friction brake is provided. The control unit is configured to determine that a one-pedal feel function is to be provided via an acceleration pedal of the vehicle and/or a creep function is to be provided via a brake pedal of the vehicle. Additionally, the control unit is configured to operate the electric machine at least temporarily in combination with the friction brake in order to provide the one-pedal feel function and/or the creep function.

The control unit is configured to reduce interfering noise in or on the vehicle by generating at least one acoustic compensation signal. The control unit is also configured to determine noise information relating to expected interfering noise, including an expected level of interfering noise, at an upcoming vehicle position while the vehicle is traveling. The control unit is also configured to cause the noise suppression unit to be activated or to be in an energy-saving mode at the upcoming vehicle position, depending on the noise information obtained.

A drive control system for a motor vehicle operated by electric motor has a drive position selector device and an electronic control unit which is connected to the drive position selector. The drive control system is configured in such a way that when a first alternative automatic drive position is selected a comparatively high, not freely selectable recuperation level can be predefined and crawl mode is deactivated, and when a second alternative automatic drive position is selected at least one constant recuperation level or a sailing mode can be predefined and crawl mode is activated.
