The invention relates to a flat element () for thermally adjusting indoor air, especially for cooling indoor air. Said flat element () comprises an air guiding chamber () and an active cover surface () having microholes (). The air guiding chamber () has an upper side (), a plurality of sidewalls (), at least one opening () for letting air in and at least one opening () for discharging air. The active cover surface () closes the air guiding chamber () towards its open bottom side. The upper side () of the air guiding chamber () is shaped so as to have at least one baffle () having at least one air guiding edge ().

Flat element for thermally adjusting indoor air

A safety device for the air in a room has an intake air channel for supplying outside air to the room. A device for air treatment is provided. A detector for air contaminants is arranged in the intake air channel. A safety closure with a drive is arranged in the air intake channel and has an open position and a closed position for airtightly closing the intake air channel or an inlet of the device for air treatment that is arranged downstream of the safety closure. An exhaust air channel is connected to the room and the device for air treatment. When the safety closure is in the open position, a partial recirculating operation occurs. When the safety closure is in the closed position, a complete recirculating operation is present. The device for air treatment, the detector, and the drive are connected to a control device.

Safety device for air in at least one room of a building

An arrangement for treating room air has a first air quality sensor in an external air conduit of an air conditioning device. An ionization apparatus, an ozone sensor, an air humidity sensor, an airflow sensor, and at least one air temperature adjusting device are arranged in the supply conduit between air conditioning device and room. Chamber or hood devices forming a component of the room are coupled to the supply conduit. A side of the chamber or hood devices has openings ensuring convection of the supply air into the room. A recirculating air conduit branches off an exhaust conduit to the air-conditioning device. A second air quality sensor is arranged in the recirculating air conduit. A control device is connected to first air quality sensor, ozone sensor, air humidity sensor, airflow sensor, second air quality sensor, and the air temperature adjusting device.

System for influencing and treating the air of at least one room

In a treatment method of room air by air ionization, sensors such as air-quality sensors, an airflow sensor, an air humidity sensor, an ozone sensor, are provided. Parameters such as oxidizable air components, relative humidity, flow velocity, flow volume, ozone level, and intensity of oxygen ions are measured. The level of ionization power of the ionization apparatus is determined by an electronic control device based on the measured parameters. The ionization power is lowered, when a predetermined ozone value is detected, and, when the ozone level continues to increase after lowering the ionization power indicating an external ozone source, ozone decomposition is initiated by changing a time period of the applied periodic alternating voltage, supplied in the form of alternating pulses or packages of alternating pulses of a preset number or a combination of alternating pulses and packages of alternating pulses of a preset number.

Method for the treatment of air of at least one room by air ionization

For treating room air by ionization in an ionization apparatus having electrical discharge ionization tubes or corona discharge tubes, the values of oxidizable air components; relative humidity; flow velocity or flow volume; ozone level in the supply air; and intensity of oxygen ions of the air are measured. The level of ionization power of the ionization apparatus Is determined by a control device based on the measured values. When a predetermined ozone level is detected, the control device lowers the ionization power, and, when the ozone level continues to increase after the ionization power has been lowered indicating an external ozone source, the control device initiates a decomposition of ozone in the ionization apparatus by changing a time period of the applied periodic alternating voltage, supplied in the form of alternating pulses or packages of alternating pulses of a preset number or a combination of both.
