Shower device having a resiliently depressible jet disk for removing mineral deposits

A shower device having a flexible, flat jet or spray disk is created, in which at least one surface zone is curved outwards and on exceeding a specific pressing in force (E) exerted thereon springs round suddenly with the curvature inwards into a space located behind it and automatically springs back to the starting position when the force is relieved. As a result of the springing or springing round, it is possible to detach lime deposits from the jet disk.

A shower head contains a shower head core with a connection to a water main and a cup-shaped jacket surrounding the core. The jacket only frees the jet disk connected to the core. For switching between two groups of jet exit openings a switching element is provided, which is rotatably located in the shower head core and is rotated by rotating the shower head jacket with respect to the still stationary core and jet disk.

In a bath rim fitting or other fitting, in which a shower hose extends through a plate or the like and whose back is difficultly accessible, it is proposed to connect the shower hose to the fixed pipe with the aid of a pressure hose. The pressure hose is sufficiently long that it can at least be drawn up to the plate opening by pulling on the shower hose, so that it is possible to replace the latter in front of or outside the plate.

A shower head contains two shower devices, which can be alternately operated with the aid of a changeover device. One shower device contains a row of shower holes. On switching from the first to the second shower device, a pin is inserted in each shower hole and has approximately the same diameter as the shower hole. Thus, during each changeover, there is a cleaning of the shower hole from the inside, which leads to a removal of deposits and contamination.

Shower head

A shower head contains a cup-shaped casing with a longitudinally displaceably held core part, for whose displacement an eccentrically-mounted circular disc engages in an opening of the core part. The eccentrically-mounted circular disc contains an eccentrically arranged hole, through which engages a square section of an adjusting member. Within the casing, the adjusting member is mounted in a sleeve in part of the shower head which does not carry water. The adjusting member does not require packings.

The invention relates to a water jet aerator which, in place of conventional metal screens, has at least two separate staircase-like obstacles, which project laterally into the paths of the individual jets and split up the jets, and mix them with air. Several such obstacles are arranged in the immediate proximity of one another, successively in the direction of flow, so that a cohesive, well-ventilated jet is obtained. The configuration of the jet cross-section can vary as a function of the arrangement of the facing walls defining the flow path in the area of the obstacles.

Water jet aeration for sanitary fittings and the like

The invention relates to an apparatus, particularly a shower head for forming a plurality of vented jets. The apparatus has a device for producing individual jets. It also has at least one underlying air space and obstacles projecting laterally into the paths of the individual jets, which deflect the latter and, while mixing with air atomize the said jets. Passage channels, which can have vortexing portions and quieting portions are provided for each vented jet for further influencing the air/water mixture. Several individual jets are used for producing a single vented jet. The object of the invention is mainly intended for use in the sanitary field.

Apparatus for forming a plurality of vented jets particularly a shower

An adjustable massage shower head comprising, a housing defining a liquid input chamber for receiving a liquid, a flow guide mounted for axial movement in the housing defining a liquid flow passage from the input chamber and a turbine chamber, the flow guide having a spray bottom connected thereto with openings therethrough. A rotor valve is rotatably mounted and fixed at an axial position to the housing and disposed in the turbine chamber for rotation which produces a pulsating spray from the openings. A ring wall is disposed around the turbine chamber and has a plurality of ducts extending radially at an oblique angle therethrough for directing liquid against the rotor valve. The flow guide is axially movable to direct liquid against increasing areas of the rotor valve to increase the frequency of the pulsing spray. A valve disc is also connected to the housing in the flow guide for diverting the flow of liquid from the turbine chamber to a second flow passage around the flow guide to form a continuous spray which is adjustable with further axial movement of the flow guide.
