A thin hearing tube is to be fastened in a hearing apparatus such that it can be easily exchanged again. To this end, the end of the sound tube is melted, so that its diameter is enlarged. The sound tube can then be drawn into the bore, the inner diameter of which is smaller than the enlarged outer diameter of the end of the sound tube, until the extended end of the sound tube rests closely against one side of the bore. By cutting the sound tube end or by cutting through the tube at another point, it can be removed from the bore without any problem, so that a new tube can be fastened there.

In order to connect a hearing device to a carrying hook, a connecting element is used, which has to satisfy high demands with regards to its precision and stability. To ensure this, the connecting element is designed as a powder injection molded part, in particular as a ceramic injection molded part or metal part, which is manufactured in a ceramic injection molding process or a metal injection molding process.

A battery compartment for a behind-the-ear hearing device includes a battery compartment body having a battery receiving space for accommodating a battery and at least one latching element for locking to a hearing device housing. The latching element and the battery compartment body are formed of different materials and the latching element is disposed in a holding device in the battery compartment body. A behind-the-ear hearing device with a latching element and the use of polyoxymethylene for manufacturing the latching element, are likewise provided. As a result of the separation of the latching element and the battery compartment body and the use of different materials, a switching and locking function can be optimized and the wearing quality can be improved.

In the case of a receiver facility to be fixed in the auditory canal, particularly for hearing devices with an external receiver, the receiver is to be mounted in the earmold in an acoustically advantageous fashion which guards against contaminations and is also easily exchangeable. Provision is thus made for a receiver facility with a longish receiver and a earmold, which has a borehole, into which the receiver is inserted. A tubular connector, which is more elastic than the receiver and the earmold, is used to accommodate for the most part the longitudinal extension of the receiver in a friction-locking fashion. The connector is for its part force-fitted into a borehole of the earmold in a friction-locking fashion. The receiver is thus elastically mounted and can be easily removed from the earmold together with the connector with the aid of a pin-like tool for replacement purposes.

A hearing apparatus allowing a user to reliably switch the apparatus on and/or off includes a battery compartment for a battery and an actuation element disposed at the battery compartment for switching the apparatus on and/or off. A contact element has a contact point and taps an electric potential on the battery with the contact point when the actuation element is in a first position. The actuation element, in a second position linearly displaced from the first position, lifts the contact element at a lifting section of the contact element being different from the contact point, to remove the contact point of the contact element from the battery. Thus, the contact point of the contact element only contacts the battery and no additional material, preventing materials from being scratched and an electric circuit from being interrupted and ensures that an even, grippable surface of the actuation element is always available.

The protection of the ports of a hearing device, in particular microphone ports, is to be more easily operable in terms of installation and replacement. Provision is made for this purpose for protection to be provided by an adhesive film with a plastic membrane, which is essentially acoustically permeable, and an adhesive layer, which is attached to the plastic membrane. The adhesive is cut out in a predetermined shape at least one specified location on the plastic membrane. It is thus possible to affix an easily operable common microphone protection system to the hearing device shell, for example for a directional microphone with several microphone ports.

In a behind-the-ear hearing device with a detachable support hook fastened to the hearing device, a narrow structural shape is enabled in the transition region between the support hook and the hearing device housing. The invention provides a one-part, metallic connection piece for a hearing device support hook, with a sound channel passing through this connection piece, with a fastening section, a stop and a fastening clip, such that forces affecting the connection piece over a plurality of regions of the connection piece can be passed into the housing of the hearing device. In comparison with a connection piece with a single region provided for force transfer, the cross-section of the hearing device housing can thereby be reduced in the region of the connection piece.
