A gas and steam turbine plant includes a steam turbine having a water-steam loop. A waste heat boiler which is connected downstream of a gas turbine includes a high-pressure preheater connected in the water-steam loop, a high-pressure heater connected downstream of the high-pressure preheater, a low-pressure heater connected upstream of the high-pressure preheater, and an evaporator of a medium-pressure heater. A coal gasification plant is connected upstream of the gas turbine. An outflow line leads into the coal gasification plant and is connected to the water-steam loop downstream of the high-pressure preheater, as seen in water flow direction. A water-steam drum communicates with the outflow line and is connected to the evaporator.

A method for reducing nitrogen oxide emissions of a gas turbine includes supplying a working medium produced in a combustion chamber with admixture of compressed air to a gas turbine, supplying a coolant to the gas turbine, and admixing a reducing agent with the coolant to reduce nitrogen oxides. A gas turbine plant includes a gas turbine, a combustion chamber connected upstream of the gas turbine, a compressor connected upstream of the combustion chamber, and a coolant line for delivering coolant to the gas turbine. A reducing agent is admixed with the coolant in the gas turbine for reducing nitrogen oxides.

Method and plant for reducing the nitrogen oxide emissions of a gas

A gas and steam turbine plant includes a steam turbine having a water-steam loop. A waste heat boiler which is connected downstream of a gas turbine includes a high-pressure preheater connected in the water-steam loop, a high-pressure heater connected downstream of the high-pressure preheater, a low-pressure heater connected upstream of the high-pressure preheater, and an evaporator of a medium-pressure heater. A coal gasification plant is connected upstream of the gas turbine. An outflow line leads into the coal gasification plant and is connected to the water-steam loop downstream of the high-pressure preheater, as seen in water flow direction. A water-steam drum communicates with the outflow line and is connected to the evaporator. A method for operating the plant includes generating steam for the steam turbine with working fluid expanded in the gas turbine. A partial quantity of preheated water at high pressure is drawn from the water-steam loop of the steam turbine and cools coal gas, when coal gas is used as fuel for the gas turbine. The drawn partial quantity is expanded and steam being formed in the process is superheated at medium pressure, both in partial-load operation and when natural gas is used as fuel for the gas turbine. Water remaining in the expansion is evaporated at medium pressure.

Method for operating a gas and steam turbine plant

A steam power plant for producing energy from tarry residual oils from a refinery includes a steam generator as well as a combustion system heating the steam generator and having a fuel side. A fired tubular furnace for heating high-viscosity refinery residues to 400.degree. to 600.degree. C., for instance, produces gaseous and vaporous products and other components of the residue. A separating column connected downstream of the fired tubular furnace separates the gaseous and vaporous products from the other components of the residue. The separating column has a lower end and an outlet line at the lower end connected upstream of the fuel side of the combustion system for the other components of the residue.

A combustion chamber with a fluidized bed furnace having a nozzle plate, a fuel feed above the nozzle plate, a primary air feed below the nozzle plate, an exhaust gas channel at an upper end of the combustion chamber, and heat-exchanging heating surfaces includes a cylindrical combustion chamber wall disposed vertically upright and having, in an upper region thereof, a plurality of secondary air nozzles disposed tangentially as well as downwardly inclined to the cylindrical wall for separating and returning unspent solid particles into a lower region of the fluidized bed, a device for directing a flow of gas and particles vertically upwardly in a central region of the combustion chamber and spirally downwardly along the cylindrical wall, and a device for impressing an upwardly increasing rotary flow about an axis of symmetry of the combustion chamber upon the gas flow.

Steam power plant, including a steam turbine having a high pressure section with an exhaust steam outlet, a steam generator having a live steam side connected upstream of the high pressure section of the steam turbine, the steam generator having a combustion chamber and a convection space formed therein, an intermediate superheater heating surface having an outlet and having an inlet being connected to the exhaust steam outlet of the high pressure section of the steam turbine, a device for applying combustion air to the combustion chamber of the steam generator, and a device disposed at the outlet of the intermediate superheater heating surface for regulating steam temperature thereat, the regulating device including a nozzle terminating in the convection space of the steam generator between the combustion chamber and the intermediate superheater heating surface.

Steam power plant and steam generator, especially suited for a steam

In a temperature holding device for water collecting vessels of steam generators operable in once-through and circulating operation, having a feed-water line leading to the once-through steam generator, an evaporator and a superheater heating surface in the feed-water line, water-steam separating vessels intermediate the evaporator and superheater heating surface, a return line for returning water from the separating vessel to the feed-water line, a circulating pump and a first valve arrangement in the return line, a warm-up line having one end connected to the feed-water line before the evaporator, and another end connected to the return line intermediate the circulating pump and first valve arrangement, and a second valve arrangement in the warm-up line. A common water collecting vessel connected to outlets on the water side of the separating vessels by partial lines of the return line, a steam line connected from the steam side of the common water collecting vessel to an input of the superheater heating surface, and a shut-off valve in the steam line being closable in once-through operation and openable in circulating operation.

Combined gas-steam power plant, including a device for carrying out a gasification reaction at overpressure between oxygen and fuel fed to the gasification device, a heat exchanger and a charged steam generator disposed down stream of the gasification device in flow direction of fuel gas generated by the gasification device, a gas turbine receiving a flue gas stream from the steam generator, an air decomposition device having a first outlet line carrying oxygen to the gasification device and a second outlet line carrying nitrogen through the heat exchanger to the gas stream between the steam generator and gas turbine.

Device for removing heat of decomposition in a steam power plant heated by nuclear energy and having a steam generator with a water-steam separating tank connected downstream of the steam generator in travel direction of the steam generated thereby includes a start-up circulatory loop for the steam power plant connected to the steam generator and including the water-steam separating tank therein, the start-up circulatory loop being formed of a feed water line and an outlet line from the water-steam separating tank and further including an externally cooled heat exchanger connected therein for removing after-heat.
