A section of a foil is sandwiched between an upper die and a first lower die and heat deformed into a cavity of the first lower die while simultaneously synchronously displacing the upper die, the first lower die, and the foil downstream. Then the upper die is raised and recirculated back upstream while cooling the section of foil in the cavity of the first lower die and displacing the lower die with the section of the foil downstream. Another section of the foil is sandwiched between the upper die and a second lower die and heat deformed into a cavity of the second lower die while simultaneously synchronously displacing the upper die, the second lower die, and the foil downstream. The first lower die is disengaged from the foil in the downstream station and recirculated back upstream to the upstream station. These steps are then repeated.

Thermoforming a continuous foil

A lower foil formed with upwardly open filled pockets passes horizontally at a constant transport speed through a work station of a machine frame. A support table holds an upper tool immediately above the foil in the station. A double parallelogrammatic linkage has two upper pivots on the support table, two lower pivots on the machine frame, and two upright links pivoted on the upper and lower pivot. A table drive mounted on the frame includes a crank connected to the link for oscillating the link about the lower pivot and thereby reciprocating the support table generally in the transport direction. A lower tool is carried by guides on the support table for only vertical movement relative to the support table. A tool drive mounted on the frame includes another crank connected to the lower tool for reciprocating the lower tool vertically relative to the support table.

Blister-foil packaging machine

A process and device are disclosed for producing a package of elongated winding material. A winding bobbin (50) has a conical winding core (52) and a first detachable flange (53) arranged at the side of the winding core (52) having the smaller diameter, and a second flange (54) arranged at the other side of the winding core (52). The winding bobbin (50) is held in a winding device by means of bobbin holding members (103, 104) which center both flanges (53, 54) and are supported on their surface opposite to the winding core (52). The elongated winding material (D) is then wound on the bobbin (50), the winding process being controlled in such a way that a predetermined type of bobbin is obtained. In particular when a plastic bobbin (50) is used, the package is easy to transport but is at the same time very resistant, so that additional packaging measures may be dispensed with. Packaging waste may thus be almost entirely avoided.

Process and device for producing a package of elongated winding material

A blister-pack package is made by forming a strip with a plurality of fields of upwardly open pockets and filling the pockets with respective objects while leaving at least one pocket empty and then scanning the fields and determining an address of the empty pocket in the respective field. A refilling head is then loaded at a stationary location with at least one of the objects. The loaded refilling head is then positioned above the empty pocket in accordance with the determined address, and the object is dropped from the loaded and positioned head into the empty pocket.

In order to improve the mounting of the drums 15 in drum-type washing machines, a bearing ring 31 which is at least partially exchangeable through an opening in the housing 13 of the washing machine is arranged between the cylindrical bearing connection piece 29 of the drum 15 and a bearing shell 26 fixed on the housing.

Washing machine

A ram-type press expresses liquid from material being pressed, particularly from a batch of wet textile materials. A press ram can be moved onto the material being pressed by the action of a pressure cylinder. A cylindrical shell, accommodating the material being pressed, can be closed at its bottom by a perforated thrust plate. The materials to be pressed and the press ram can be introduced one after the other from above into the cylindrical shell. The press ram is connected to an edge of an opening of a pot-shaped elastically yielding cushioning member and includes a union which can be connected to a water main in order to introduce water into the cushioning member. The bottom of this cushioning member forms a membrane which can be pressed against the material from which the liquid is to be expressed.
