A sample delivery system for liquid chromatography is provided. The sample delivery system includes: a sample receptacle; a sample aspiration cannula for aspirating a sample located in the sample receptacle, the sample aspiration cannula being directed using a drive in a direction towards the sample receptacle so that a tip at a distal end of the sample aspiration cannula is immersed in the sample; and a guide element for the sample aspiration cannula provided above the sample receptacle, the guide element being designed as a washing device. The sample aspiration cannula can be retracted using the drive at least so far from the sample receptacle such that the distal end of the sample aspiration cannula may be cleaned in the washing device.

Sample injector and sampling method, in particular for liquid chromatography

The rotating valve for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) has a stator with connections for the solvent reservoirs, pumps, chromatography columns etc. and a disc-shaped rotor with connecting grooves on the front face for selectively connecting different connections to one another. Said grooves are evenly distributed on two concentrical circles. The connecting grooves on the front face of the rotor are configured in the form of circular segments and are arranged in such a way that fife connections are simultaneously connected to one another in defined positions of the rotor in each circle.

In a reaction chamber is located a platform for receiving individual samples and sample racks. The reaction chamber can be heated, cooled and evacuated. The samples are then radiation heated. The sample platform is shaken by magnetic coupling. The individual sample containers/reaction containers may be filled or emptied in use thorough ducts. The system has applications in the field of chemical combinatory synthesis, as evaporator or for related applications.
