In order for it to be also possible to transmit relatively high torques in an operationally reliable manner with low power loss and with a low or inexpensive design outlay in a bevel friction ring gear mechanism, consisting of at least two component transmissions which are configured as bevel friction ring gear mechanisms and have a first adjusting device for a friction ring of the first component transmission and a second adjusting device for a friction ring of the second component transmission, wherein the bevel friction ring gear mechanism has a regulating device for regulating an axial position of the friction rings, it is proposed that the regulating device has at least one first part regulating device with a first reference variable and a second part regulating device with a second reference variable which is separate from the first reference variable, wherein the first component transmission has the first part regulating device for regulating the position of the friction ring of the first component transmission, and the second component transmission has the first part regulating device and the second part regulating device, but at least the second part regulating device, for regulating the position of the friction ring of the second part transmission.

Cone/friction ring transmission and method for a cone/friction ring transmission

A friction ring-type transmission includes two roller bodies which are arranged at a distance from each other about a gap, which correspond to each other via the friction ring and which rotate () on axial roller body axes. The friction ring is arranged in an adjusting bridge in such a manner that it can be axially displaced about an adjusting path along the gap and the adjusting bridge is mounted by an individual, axial guiding device.

The aim of the invention is to further develop a bevel friction ring gearing. The invention thus relates to a bevel friction ring gearing in which the friction ring can be displaced by means of an adjusting device that comprises a guide on which an adjusting bridge for the friction ring is arranged in a free axially displaceable manner. The adjusting device comprises a worm-gear drive that engages with the guide.

In order to absorb loadings on friction faces in bevel friction ring gear mechanisms in an improved manner, the invention proposes a bevel friction ring gear mechanism having at least two friction cones which are arranged spaced apart from one another and a friction ring which is arranged displaceably in the spacing and transmits a torque from one of the two friction cones to the other of the two friction cones, wherein at least one friction face varies axially and the axial variation of the friction face has a radius above 0.1 mm in at least two convex regions.
