A plurality of requests is received by a first controller to display a message associated with each of the plurality of requests on a heads-up display from one or more operational applications. The plurality of requests are filtered by an arbitration gateway based on user attention data gathered from a user monitoring system and a user behavior history. A priority is assigned to each of the plurality of filtered requests based on a user interest prediction model, at least a portion of the plurality of the filtered requests are selected based on the assigned priority, and the messages associated with the selected portion of the plurality of filtered requests are displayed on the heads-up display.

Adaptive heads-up display using a user monitoring system and remote systems

A method for wireless data transmission and reconstruction includes receiving data from a vehicle, extracting key frames from the data, and encoding, using an encoder of a variable autoencoder, the key frames of the data into a latent space to generate compressed data. The method also includes transmitting the compressed data from the vehicle to a remote server. The method includes generating, using a decoder of the variable autoencoder, data points from the compressed data, where the data points are representative of the data received from the vehicle.

Method and system for wireless data transmission

A method of soliciting an occupant intervention for a simultaneous localization and mapping-based navigation system. A vehicle path plan and a motion control instruction are created and a suspected obstacle in a drive path is identified, wherein the drive path provides a portion of the vehicle path plan. The method includes receiving historical vehicle-trajectory data. The historical vehicle-trajectory data includes the location and the heading of the vehicle for each of the plurality of historical trajectories along the structure. The method further includes clustering the plurality of historical trajectories of the vehicle along the structure by types of maneuvers to generate a plurality of trajectory clusters. The method also includes creating a probability distribution bitmap using the plurality of trajectory clusters and creating a topographic map based on the probability distribution bitmap.

Smart notifications for vehicle parking garage maneuvers

A method for generating garage parking notifications includes receiving current parked-vehicle data indicating that a vehicle has been parked inside a garage. The current parked-vehicle data includes the current location of the vehicle parked inside the garage. The method further includes determining whether the current location of the vehicle inside the garage is within a warning zone. The warning zone is an area inside the garage where the vehicle has not been frequently parked. The warning zone area is determined using historical parked-vehicle data. The method further includes generating a notification to warn an operator of the vehicle that the vehicle should be moved in response to determining that the current location of the vehicle inside the garage is within the warning zone.

Systems and methods for implementing autonomous vehicle collaboration via a hybrid distributed connected network

A method of detecting a malicious wireless vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication includes retrieving perception data from a perception system on an ego vehicle, determining information about nearby objects from the perception data, receiving a first Basic Safety Message (BSM) from a first V2X source and determining if a vehicle location indicated in the first BSM corresponds to a location visible to the ego vehicle. In the event that the vehicle location indicated in the first BSM does not correspond to a location visible to the ego vehicle, the method further includes receiving a second V2X communication from a second V2X source and determining if the second V2X communication indicates a vehicle at the vehicle location indicated in the first BSM. In the event that the second V2X communication does not indicate a vehicle at the vehicle location indicated in the first BSM, the first BSM data is flagged as malicious.

An automated driving system (ADS) of an autonomous vehicle includes a communication module, a misbehavior detection module, and a processor. The communication module is configured to receive a vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) message including source vehicle data and receive a fusion data message including fusion data from a mobile edge computing (MEC) system including a roadside unit (RSU). The source vehicle data includes a source vehicle location. The fusion data is based on RSU sensed data and on vehicle sensed data received at the RSU from at least one vehicle. The misbehavior detection module is configured to determine whether a source vehicle is disposed at the source vehicle location based on the fusion data. The processor is configured to manage performance of the autonomous vehicle in accordance with the source vehicle data based at least in part on the determination. The method includes receiving, via an interface of the V2X enabled safety triangle warning reflector, vehicle information before deployment for storing the vehicle information in a memory disposed locally at the V2X enabled safety triangle warning reflector for subsequent use at the deployment; generating, by a processor chip in communication with the memory, a failure message associated with the vehicle failure based at least on the vehicle information contained locally in memory; and broadcasting, the failure message generated by the processor chip via a transmitter disposed of in the V2X enable safety triangle warning reflector during a vehicle failure, wherein the failure message is broadcasted in a surrounding area of the failure vehicle on a set of multiple different channels including cloud, infrastructure and personal communication service (PCS) channels to entities that provide traffic and vehicle control.
