Additionally, a protection tube is disposed around the ferrule, where an end surface of the ferrule protrudes from an end surface of the protection tube or an end surface of the ferrule is level with an end surface of the protection tube. Further, the protection tube has a notch, and a beveled edge is formed at an outer end of the notch.

Optical fiber sub-assembly and optical fiber connector

A fiber access terminal including a first assembly and a second assembly. The first assembly includes a first box body and an optical fiber adapter. The second assembly includes a second box body, an optical splitter, an optical fiber connector, and a plurality of optical fiber adapters. The optical fiber adapter of the first assembly is disposed outside the first box body. The optical splitter is disposed inside the second box body, and the optical fiber connector and the plurality of optical fiber adapters of the second assembly are disposed outside the second box body. The present disclosure relates to optical fiber plugs, optical fiber adapters, and optical fiber connector assemblies. One example optical fiber plug includes a ferrule, a sleeve, and a lock cap. At least one lock block is disposed on an inner wall of the lock cap. The at least one lock block is configured to be engaged and locked with a lock slot on an optical fiber adapter. Two stop blocks are disposed on the inner wall of the lock cap. A stop rod is disposed on an outer wall of the sleeve. The stop rod is located between the two stop blocks. The lock cap rotates relative to the sleeve within an angle range limited by the two stop blocks.

The present disclosure discloses a plug protection cap that includes a main body, a connecting sleeve, and a traction stub. An accommodating cavity is disposed in the main body. An inlet is through the accommodating cavity that is disposed on an end face of one end of the main body. A locking part is disposed at a position that is on an inner circumferential surface of the accommodating cavity and that is near the inlet. One end of the connecting sleeve detachably sheathes one end that is of the main body and that is away from the inlet, and the other end of the connecting sleeve is rotatably connected to one end of the traction stub. The present disclosure further discloses an optical fiber connector assembly, a fiber plug, and a network device.

Embodiments of the present invention provide an optical fiber connector assembly, an optical fiber adapter, and an optical fiber connector to solve the problem of inconvenience in use caused by using a thread-locking manner in the prior art. The optical fiber connector, optical fiber adapter and optical fiber connector assembly provided in the present invention may be used as an outdoor connector to achieve plug and play. The optical fiber connector supports blind-mate, and the operation is convenient. Time taken to install and disassemble the optical fiber connector provided in the present invention is only &#x2155; of the time taken to install and disassemble a common thread connector.

An optical fiber joint includes: an optical fiber extending out of the optical cable is held in the cavity, one end of the inner sleeve element is fixed at the optical cable, and a sleeve is placed at the other end; and an outer sleeve element, the outer sleeve element is sleeved onto an outer side of the inner sleeve element; the sleeve of the inner sleeve element at least partially protrudes out of the outer sleeve element, a tail end of the sleeve protruding out of the outer sleeve element has an opening, so that the tail end of the sleeve forms a C-shaped section. Based on the foregoing technical solutions, the optical fiber connector according to the embodiments of the present disclosure is seamlessly connected to a C-shaped slot of an optical fiber adapter by using the sleeve having the C-shaped opening of the optical fiber joint.

Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose an optical cable and an optical cable system, where the optical cable includes an SZ-shaped optical cable skeleton and a plurality of optical fiber units. Skeleton slots is recessed in a periphery of the optical cable skeleton, and the plurality of optical fiber units is grouped and respectively disposed in the corresponding skeleton slots, thereby having the advantages of being easy to strip and draw, high reliability, and long lifetime. Moreover, the optical fiber does not need to be connected when being diverged on floors during installation, thereby reducing the fusion splicing/termination connection time, simplifying the optical cable wiring, greatly reducing deployment cost of an Optical Distribution Network (ODN), and speeding up the scale deployment of the FTTX ODN; in addition, interference among the optical fibers is avoided when the optical fibers are drawn, thereby increasing reliability of the optical fibers after installation.
