A method for imaging may include directing a PET scanner to perform scans of a subject injected with a tracer during a first time period. The method may also include generating PET images by reconstructing the PET data that are generated by the PET scanner based on the scans of the subject. The method may also include determining a first portion of a blood input function of the tracer in the subject based on the PET images. The method may also include determining an integral of a second portion of the blood input function based on a kinetic model, the PET data, and the first portion of the blood input function. The method may also include determining kinetic parameters of the kinetic model based on the PET data, the first portion of the blood input function, and the integral of the second portion of the blood input function.

A method for generating attenuation map is disclosed. The method includes acquiring an anatomic image and PET data indicative of a subject, wherein the anatomic image comprises a plurality of voxels. The method also includes fetching a reference image to register the anatomic image, the reference image includes voxel segmentation information. The method further includes segmenting the anatomic image into a plurality of regions based on the voxel segmentation information. The method further includes generating a first attenuation map corresponding to the anatomic image by assigning attenuation coefficients to the plurality of regions. The method further includes calculating a registration accuracy between the anatomic image and the reference image. The method further includes determining a probability distribution of attenuation coefficient. The method further includes updating the first attenuation map iteratively based on the probability distribution of attenuation coefficient and the PET data to obtain a final attenuation map.

System and method for generating attenuation map

A method for segmenting a medical image is disclosed. The method includes acquiring MR image and PET data during a scan of the object, acquiring an air/bone ambiguous region in the MR image, the air/bone ambiguous region including air voxels and bone voxels undistinguished from each other. The method also includes assigning attenuation coefficients to the voxels of the plurality of regions and generating an attenuation map. The method further includes iteratively reconstructing the PET data and the attenuation map to generate a PET image and an estimated attenuation map. The method further includes reassigning attenuation coefficients to the voxels of the air/bone ambiguous region based on the estimated attenuation map, and distinguishing the bone voxels and air voxels in the air/bone ambiguous region.

System and method for segmenting medical image

A system and method of imaging a patient are provided. The system may include an acquisition configured to obtain a PET dataset relating to a target organ of a patient. The system may also include a processing module configured to determine a reference point of the target organ, divide the PET dataset into a plurality of data frames, and determine a motion signal of the target organ based on a plurality of first statistical parameters and a plurality of second statistical parameters. The processing module may further sort the PET dataset into a plurality of bins based on the motion signal.

The systems may execute the methods to acquire, based on a PET system, a first dataset relating to coincidence events with TOF information, and a second dataset relating to single events. The systems may also execute the methods to determine a target activity map and a target attenuation map based on the first dataset and the second dataset through a plurality of iterations. The systems may further execute the methods to generate the PET image based on the target activity map and the target attenuation map.
