A computer-implemented method, system and computer-readable storage device provide functionality for managing location information for planar regions in two-dimensional views of a three-dimensional environment. A request is received for a first two-dimensional view of a three-dimensional environment that identifies a first planar region associated with content within the three-dimensional environment. The first two-dimensional view is rendered and displayed. A request is received for a second two-dimensional view from a second location. A distance and direction between the location of the first planar region and the location for the second view are determined and used to establish a second location of the planar region in the second two-dimensional view, and then use this information to help render and display the second two-dimensional view.

Method of annotation across different locations

A method and apparatus for performing template and content aware document and template editing is provided. Template and content aware document and template editing may include identifying a current document template, the current document template including a plurality of rules, generating a current document based on the current document template, wherein generating the current document includes, identifying a rule from the plurality of rules, the rule indicating an object and an object definition for the object, the object definition including a dynamic content definition, and including dynamic content in the current document based on the dynamic content definition, and storing or transmitting the current document.

Template and content aware document and template editing

A system provides a remote electronic device with secure access to a web service. The system generates an alphanumeric character set, encodes the character set in a barcode, and outputs the barcode on a login page. When the system receives an access request from a remote electronic device, it will determine whether the request or a following communication includes the character set and a unique identifier for an authentication application that is installed on the remote electronic device. If so, then the system will use the unique identifier to identify a user account for a user who is using the remote device, generate a home page that includes one or more functions for which the user account is authorized, and output the home page. The system will output the home page in a manner that permits the remote electronic device to securely access and display the home page.
