The light emitting device and the optical element may convert the light emitted from the light emitting device to be a parallel beam in the thickness direction of the light guide plate, so that the light may be coupled into the light guide plate according to needs when the light guide plate is rather thin, which facilitates to reduce the thickness of the backlight source and related products.
