An electrical connector includes a base portion, a tail portion extending from a first side of the base portion, a serpentine portion having a first end connected to a second side of the base portion opposite to the first side, a movable head portion connected to a second end of the serpentine portion, and a housing in which an accommodation chamber is formed to accommodate the serpentine portion. The housing has a first end connected with the base portion and a second end provided with a limiting portion confining the serpentine portion within the accommodation chamber. The head portion is movable so as to pass through the limiting portion. The electrical connector is made of a single piece of metal.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes a housing having contact chambers between a top and a bottom configured to be mounted to a circuit board. A rear wall of the housing includes lead slots open at the top to receive leads of an electrical component. The electrical connector includes a cover coupled to the top of the housing above the leads. The electrical connector includes contacts received in corresponding contact chambers. Each contact includes a base having a solder pad at a bottom configured to be soldered to a circuit board conductor of the circuit board. Each contact includes contact beams extending from the base to form a socket proximate to the top of the housing that receives the lead of the electrical component from above to electrically connect to the lead of the electrical component.

Surface mount electrical connector

A socket connector terminal is disclosed having a terminal body, two contacts, and at least two welding portions. The two contacts are formed at opposite ends of the terminal body, each contact having a positioning portion that prevents movement in the socket connector along a plug connector insertion direction. The two welding portions are formed between the opposite ends of the terminal body, and are constructed to be welded to a circuit board.

Terminal, electrical connector and electrical connector assembly

A spring finger of an electrical connector is disclosed. The spring finger includes a soldering section, a support section extending substantially perpendicularly from an end of the soldering section, a U-shaped first bend extending from an end of the support section opposite the soldering section and forming a first opening facing the soldering section, and a U-shaped contact structure obliquely suspended from an end of the first bend and spaced apart from the support section. The contact structure contacts a mating conductive terminal of a mating connector in a lateral direction parallel to the soldering section.

Spring finger and electrical connector

A receptacle terminal is provide and includes a first U-shape section. The first U-shape section has a downward opening and includes a base, a first lateral arm, and a pair of extending arms. The base extending laterally thereof and the first lateral arm faces the base. The pair of extending arms is bent substantially perpendicularly towards the first lateral arm at both lateral ends of the base.
