A supporting mechanism and a sorting machine having the same are provided. The supporting mechanism includes a supporting body. An annular sliding slot is formed on a section of surface of the supporting body. A U-shaped clamping slot is provided in a ring of the annular sliding slot. A one-way deflecting locating valve plate is provided at the position of an opening of the U-shaped clamping slot and configured to close the annular sliding slot, and the locating valve plate is provided with a reset force configured to ensure a tendency of the locating valve plate to close the annular sliding slot. A deflecting angle of the locating valve plate ensures that a free end of the locating valve plate deflects from one side to another side of the opening of the U-shaped clamping slot. The supporting mechanism has a simple operation and a high efficiency.

A connector for a cash box comprises a male connector () disposed on the cash box () and a female connector () disposed on a cash box bracket (). An elastic element () is disposed on the cash box bracket () and provides the female connector () with a thrust for matching the male connector () tightly. The elastic element () is further connected with a floating board () and provides the floating board () with a supporting force along the assembly direction of the cash box (). A protecting cover device () is further disposed on the cash box bracket (), located over the female connector (), and comprises a protection cover bracket (), a resetting torsion spring (), and a cover body (). The cover body () is pivoted to the protection cover bracket () with a shaft (). The resetting torsion spring () is sleeved on the shaft (), located between the cover body () and the protection cover bracket (), and provides the cover body () with a torque force to cover the female connector () without any external force. The cover body () is opened by the side wall of the cash box to complete the connection when the cash box () is assembled.
