A high duty cycle ion mobility analysis apparatus includes an ion source, first and second ion storage zones, and an ion mobility analyzer. The ion mobility analyzer includes first and second channels containing a gas flow coaxial with an ion migration direction and a direct current electric field in the opposite direction of the gas flow, and the direct current electric fields in the channels are different in strength. In a continuous scanning period, ions that have not reached appropriate scanning conditions or have missed the appropriate scanning conditions and thus are unable to pass through the mobility analyzer are temporarily stored in two independent ion storage zones without being lost to be analyzed by the mobility analyzer until conditions of the scanning period or a next scanning period are appropriate.

Ion mobility analysis apparatus

The present invention provides dielectric barrier discharge ionization, including a dielectric barrier discharge tube and an electrode pair consisting of a first electrode and a second electrode. At least a portion of the dielectric barrier discharge tube is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrode pair can ionize the sample after the power is turned on. The dielectric barrier discharge tube is in communication with a vacuum portion. The pressure range in the dielectric barrier discharge tube is 0.01 to 100 Pa. The dielectric barrier discharge ionization provided by the invention remedies the defects of existing low-pressure ion sources in the pressure range, and provides the low-pressure ion source with high ionization ability, high versatility and simple devices.

The invention provides a mass spectrometry analysis method and a mass spectrometry system, including: a first sample separation step, separating a sample by a first sample separation device to obtain first isolates; a second sample separation step, introducing ionized first isolates into a second sample separation device for further separation based on a difference in ion mobility to obtain second isolates; and a mass spectrometry analysis step, performing mass spectrometry detection at least on daughter ions obtained from dissociation of the second isolates; in the second sample separation step, the second sample separation device operates in a filter mode, and screens out and releases ions having ion mobility within a specified range from received second isolates. The mass spectrometry analysis method can improve the dynamic range of mass spectrometry analysis.

Mass spectrometry analysis method and mass spectrometry system

The present invention relates to the field of mass and/or ion mobility spectrometers. Provided is an ionization device and a mass spectrometer and an ion mobility spectrometer having same. Further provided is an ionization method. A sampling probe of the ionization device of the present invention is able to actively and rapidly collect samples, while a sampling device and a thermal desorption device are combined into one, simplifying and compacting the sampling device. An ionization part is provided downstream of the sampling and desorption part, ensuring that the sampling probe will not interfere with a flow field or an electric field between the ionization part and the analysis assembly inlet, thus ensuring repeatability of the device signal and flexibility of analysis.

The invention relates to a mass spectrometer, a mass spectrometry method and a detection system. The mass spectrometer includes a vacuum chamber having a working pressure being 0.1 Pa&#x2264;P&#x2264;10 Pa; a linear ion trap, arranged in the vacuum chamber, wherein a field radius r of the linear ion trap is r&#x2264;5 mm; and a power supply, configured to provide a radio-frequency voltage for the linear ion trap, a frequency f of the radio-frequency voltage being 2 MHz&#x2264;f&#x2264;10 MHz. Because a vacuum level is relatively low, this vacuum condition may be realized by selecting a roughing pump for evacuating; and compared with a combined pump unit which is generally selected by a traditional mass spectrometer using the linear ion trap and is composed of a turbo molecular pump and a roughing pump, the roughing pump has a lower pumping speed, smaller size and lower manufacturing cost.

A data acquisition and analysis method for a mass spectrometer includes providing at least one ion source for generating ions, the generated ions containing ions of a substance to be analyzed; dividing the full mass-to-charge ratio range of the ions of the substance into several mass-to-charge ratio windows, feeding ions corresponding to different mass-to-charge ratio windows into a collision cell to fragment at least part of the corresponding ions, and recording mass spectra of the ions passing through the collision cell as corresponding product ion spectra; obtaining a mass-to-charge ratio window corresponding to the product ion spectra obtained by the searching; within the mass-to-charge ratio range of the obtained mass-to-charge ratio window, obtaining ion peaks from the product ion spectra obtained by the searching; and determining whether ions corresponding to the obtained ion peaks are precursor ions corresponding to the product ion spectra obtained by the searching.

Mass spectrum data acquisition and analysis method

The invention provides a mass spectrometry analysis method and a mass spectrometry system. During implementation of the mass spectrometry analysis method, intensity data of the daughter ions, a first parameter of the daughter ions associated with the first physicochemical property, and a second parameter of the daughter ions associated with the second physicochemical property are all recorded to form a spectrogram data set. In a deconvolution step, the spectrogram data set is deconvoluted to categorize the daughter ions from the same parent ion according to two-dimensional features including the first parameter and the second parameter. In the above manner, the mass spectrometry analysis method and the mass spectrometry system provided by the invention can detect ions that partially overlap spectral peaks of other ions significantly, thereby improving the qualitative and quantitative ability of data analysis for data independent acquisition.

The invention provides an ion mobility analyzer apparatus and analysis method. The analyzer apparatus includes an ion source, two groups of parallel electrodes, a power supply unit and a detector. The drift region is formed between the two groups of parallel electrodes, and has an ion entrance connected to the ion source and an ion exit. Each group of parallel electrodes is located in a plane respectively, and the two planes are parallel to each other. The power supply unit is configured to apply direct current potentials on the two groups of parallel electrodes to form a direct current electric field that applies an opposing force on ions against the gas flow so that ions with different mobilities are trapped under the combined effect of the gas flow and the direct current electric field. The detector is connected to the ion exit to detect ions.

Ion migration rate analysis device and analysis method applied

The ion guiding device comprises a first electrode assembly comprising two parallel electrode units arranged along a spatial axis; a second electrode assembly comprising at least two non-parallel electrode units arranged in a plane between the parallel electrode units along the spatial axis, wherein a space enclosed by the first electrode assembly and second electrode assembly forms an ion transmission channel along the spatial axis; and, a power supply device, which is configured to apply RF voltages with different polarities to the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly to generate a RF electric field in the directions perpendicular to the spatial axis to confine ions, and separately apply DC voltages to the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly to generate a certain DC voltage difference, to generate a DC electric field along the spatial axis to control the movement of ions.

A data acquisition method in a mass spectrometer includes a. providing an ion source to generate precursor ions; b. feeding the precursor ions into a first mass analyzer that selects one mass window such that the precursor ions located outside the mass window pass through the first mass analyzer and the precursor ions located within the mass window cannot pass through the first mass analyzer; c. feeding the precursor ions passing through the first mass analyzer into a collision cell for collisional dissociation, to generate product ions; d. feeding the product ions into a second mass analyzer for mass analysis and recording a spectrum; and e. repeating Steps b-d. Each time when Step b is repeatedly performed, the selected mass window does not overlap with all the mass windows previously selected. After all the mass windows in a mass range are selected, the repetition is stopped.

Data acquisition method in a mass spectrometer

An ion guiding device includes ring electrodes with a same size disposed in parallel; wherein a connection line of centers of the ring electrodes is defined as an axis, a normal of a plane where any of the ring electrodes is located and a tangent line of the axis at a center of the ring electrode form an included angle being a range of (0, 90) degrees; a radio-frequency voltage source, for applying an out-phase radio-frequency voltage on a neighboring ring electrode along the axis, so that ions are confined inside the ring electrode during a transmission process; and a direct-current voltage source, applying a direct-current voltage with an amplitude changing along the axis on the ring electrode, so that the ions are transmitted along the axis and focused to a position closer to an inner surface of the ring electrode along a direction of the normal.

Ion guiding device and guiding method

A data acquisition method for a mass spectrometer includes providing at least one ion source for generating ions; not fragmenting or less fragmenting the ions when a collision cell is in a first working mode; recording a mass spectrum of the ions generated in the first working mode; selecting more than one ion from the ions, the more than one ion being distributed in a plurality of discontinuous mass-to-charge ratio channels; partially fragmenting the selected ions when the collision cell is in a second working mode; recording a mass spectrum of the ions generated in the second working mode; and, repetitively executing the above steps for several times. The ions distributed in the discontinuous mass-to-charge ratio channels is always selected during the subsequent repeated execution, until the ion intensity of the selected ions is less than a set value.

The present disclosure provides a sample desorption ionization device and analysis method for a mass spectrometer. The device has a first gas pressure region and a second gas pressure region lower than the first gas pressure region. The device includes: a heating desorption device, carrying a sample and heating the sample, an analyte in the sample is desorbed from the sample under a heating action and then enters the first gas pressure region; a vacuum interface component, connected with the first gas pressure region and the second gas pressure region, and causing the analyte to enter the second gas pressure region from the first gas pressure region under the drive of a gas flow; and a soft ionization source, converting gas molecules in the second gas pressure region into activated gas molecules, the analyte entering the second gas pressure region realizes soft ionization after interacting with the activated gas molecules.
