In response to receiving a contract deployment request sent from a requesting node in a blockchain network, a contract file corresponding to the contract deployment request is acquired. The contract file is generated by performing content extension on a smart contract corresponding to the contract deployment request. Validation is performed on the contract file based on an analysis result of the contract file and a blockchain account book, wherein the validation is used to characterize performing validation on a secret key of the contract file, a content of the contract file, and a signature of a contract participant. The blockchain account book is generated by pre-executing a contract deployment transaction. In response to the contract file passing the validation, a smart contract corresponding to the contract deployment request according to the contract file is determined.
