Methods and systems for receiving, mapping and structuring data from disparate systems in a healthcare environment are described. An example computer-implemented method of receiving data input associated with different versions of healthcare message structures includes receiving first data in a first format through a single service interface. One or more fields of the first data is not supported by at least one of the different versions of the healthcare message structures. The example method also includes receiving second data in a second format through the single service interface. One or more fields of the second data is not supported by at least one of the different versions of the healthcare message structures. The single service interface enables the receipt of the first data and the second data to minimize a number of interface end points.

Methods and systems for receiving, mapping and structuring data from disparate systems in a healthcare environment

Methods and apparatus to correlate healthcare information are disclosed. An example method includes receiving a healthcare message from a first entity of a healthcare enterprise, wherein the healthcare message is configured according to a first identification schema of the first entity; identifying one or more subjects of the healthcare message for correlation into an electronic clinical information system; selecting one of a plurality of correlators for each identified subject to correlate each identified subject, wherein each of the correlators are customizable to handle a specific type of healthcare message subject; and correlating the identified subjects of the message to associate each of the identified subjects with an identifier internal to the electronic clinical information system.

Methods and apparatus to correlate healthcare information

Methods and systems for receiving, mapping and structuring data from disparate systems in a healthcare environment are described. An example system for processing healthcare data includes an interface to receive input and display output, the input comprising a plurality of differently formatted healthcare messages and an identifier to identify a message type of the plurality of healthcare messages received. The example system also includes a mapper to map data of the plurality of healthcare messages to respective models based on the message type identified and a data store to store the models and corresponding mapped data.

A method for storing customized attributes in a clinical document architecture (CDA) document to provide searching functionality in a clinical environment includes retrieving, from a clinical database, attributes to be attached to a document in accordance with scripted instructions received from a user. The method further includes concatenating the retrieved attributes in accordance with the scripted instructions to create a customized, derived attribute, storing the customized, derived attribute in the document, and sending the document with the customized, derived attribute to the clinical database for storage.
