The disclosure provides devices, device systems, and methods for analyzing cells (e.g., blood cells) or particles in a sample. In some embodiments, the disclosure provides various devices and device systems including: a light source; a collecting lens; and one, two, or more detectors. In other embodiments, the devices and device systems include a flow cell or a cartridge device with a flow cell. In further embodiments, the disclosure provides various methods including the steps of: using a light source to emit an irradiation light; using the irradiation light to illuminate a sample flow; using a collecting lens to collect both scattered light and fluorescent light from the sample flow; and using one, two, or more detectors to detect the collected scattered light and fluorescent light. Optionally, these methods include using a flow cell to form a sample flow.

Devices and methods for cell analysis

The present disclosure relates to new types of fluid packaging devices and methods of making and using such fluid packaging devices. In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides devices, systems, and methods for packaging fluids. In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides a device including a storage compartment; a fluid stored in the storage compartment; a first aperture on the storage compartment; and a second aperture on the storage compartment. The first aperture is initially sealed or closed before the use of the device and configured to be opened to receive a pneumatic pressure. The second aperture is initially sealed or closed before the use of the device and configured to be opened to allow the fluid to exit or enter the storage compartment via the opened second aperture.

Reagent packaging devices and uses thereof

A method for analyzing biological samples is disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the method includes receiving a fluid sample into a cartridge device, which comprises: a fluidic chamber; at least one microfluidic channel in fluid communication with the fluidic chamber; and a venting port configured to apply a pneumatic force to the fluidic chamber; and inserting the cartridge device into a reader device to perform measurements, wherein the cartridge device is positioned in a vertical or tilted position such that at least a portion of the fluid sample inside the fluidic chamber is pulled by gravity in a direction away from the venting port or towards the bottom of the fluidic chamber.

Methods of analyzing biological samples using a fluidic cartridge

Fluidic cartridge for cytometry and additional analysis

Methods and devices for correction in particle size measurement are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method includes the following steps: (1) measuring a signal from a target particle and a reference particle in a cartridge device; (2) analyzing the measured signal to obtain signal information of the target particle and signal information of the reference particle; and (3) determining size information of the target particle by correcting the signal information of the target particle with the signal information of the reference particle. In other embodiments, a device includes a cartridge and an analyzer. The analyzer is configured to receive the cartridge into the analyzer, measure a signal from the target particle and the reference particle, analyze the measured signal to obtain signal information, and determine size information of the target particle.

Methods and devices for correction in particle size measurement

Devices and methods for analyzing a sample are disclosed. In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides devices and methods for preparing a serial dilution of a sample. In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides devices and methods for preparing a serial dilution of a sample and conducting sample analysis. In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides a cartridge device and a reader instrument device.
