An anode mount assembly is provided for facilitating rapid replacement of an anode component. The adapter mount assembly can comprise a mount component comprising a component body having at least one mounting aperture disposed therein and at least one protrusion or recess that can engage a recess or protrusion of the anode component for restricting movement of the anode component with respect to the mount component in at least one of a rotational and a translational direction of movement. Further, the anode component can comprise an engagement aperture, and the mounting aperture and the engagement aperture can be configured to receive a fastener for securing the anode component to the mount component and for restricting at least one additional degree of movement of the anode component with respect to the mount component to thereby secure the anode component to the mount component.

A Hall effect sensor or device may be used in a variety of embodiments, such as measuring current within an associated conductor by helping to measure flux density within a gap of a ferromagnetic power meter core, such as in a power meter. A high linearity interface for a Hall effect device is provided for minimizing offset effects without using complicated electronic circuits. Hall effect device is characterized by first and second opposing surfaces, first and second device inputs, and first and second device outputs. A substrate is layered adjacent to one of the first and second opposing surfaces of the Hall effect device and is electrically connected to an output pin of the Hall effect device to eliminate any effects caused by asymmetry of the voltage appearing in the channel relative to the substrate. The net effect of the high linearity interface is to eliminate any adverse effects to linearity of the system, especially at low magnetic flux levels where the output voltage of the Hall device would be relatively small compared to the offset voltage levels involved. The interface virtually eliminates adverse effects from operational amplifier input offset voltages, Hall effect device output offset voltages, and any common mode voltages.

High linearity, low offset interface for Hall effect devices

An improved sacrificial marine anode is adapted for installation on numerous different types of marine vessels. The anode is comprised of a plate of sacrificial metal formed with a pair of longitudinally aligned slots which are spatially separated from each other and which are defined entirely within the perimeter of the plate. The anode may be installed on a marine vessel having a hull and a pair of spatially separated studs projecting from the hull below the waterline thereof. The anode is installed by placing the slab against the hull from beneath the waterline such that the studs project through the slots, and securing fasteners to the ends of the studs to clamp the slab against the hull.

The brass fastener serves as a jam nut for the propeller and includes a deformable member and a set screw cooperating with one another to hold a propeller and the nose piece assembled to the shaft. The cup-shaped nose piece is formed solely of zinc and its internal threads hold it securely assembled to the brass fastener by an interference fit between the nose piece threads and the shallow inboard end of the brass fastener threads.
