Facilitating conditional fast return to stand alone advanced networks after voice fall back with network congestion awareness is provided herein. Operations of a system can include controlling a first communication for a user equipment based on a connection request that comprises an indication of a fall back procedure. The operations can also include, based on a determination that the first communication has completed at the user equipment, releasing a first control of the user equipment. Further, the operations can include delaying a redirection of the user equipment to the network equipment for a second control of a second communication scheduled to occur at the user equipment. Delaying of the redirection is based on a determined network congestion level applicable to the communication network being determined to be at most a defined network congestion level.

Facilitating conditional fast return to stand alone advanced networks after voice fall back based on network congestion awareness

The disclosed technology is directed towards switching the primary cell in a carrier aggregation scenario to improve performance. Measurement data of a mobile device (user equipment) is evaluated with respect to one or more various criteria such as cell carrier bandwidth, cell carrier load, cell-related capability and other carrier data (e.g., dynamic spectrum sharing versus clean, time division duplex or frequency division duplex), and others. Device conditions such as overheating can be considered as well. The evaluation results in a ranking of primary cell candidates. If a more optimal primary cell (candidate) is available, the primary cell in the carrier aggregation combination is switched to the candidate that is ranked the highest. Switching can be relatively very fast, such as based on already existing layer-1 (L1) and/or layer-2 (L2) measurement data. Layer-3 (L3) measurement data also can be obtained on demand, for example, to use in the evaluation.

Primary cell switching in carrier aggregation

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, analyzing data in accordance with at least one algorithm to select one of carrier aggregation or dual connectivity for providing a communication service in respect of a communication device, resulting in a selection, and providing the communication service to the communication device in accordance with the selection. Apparatuses and methods for facilitating a selection between carrier aggregation and dual connectivity

Techniques for controlling parameters for uplink transmission associated with a device to facilitate improving a communication condition metric(s) (CCM(s)) of the uplink transmission are presented. A communication management component (CMC) can determine whether CCM satisfies a first threshold CCM. If CCM does not, CMC can modify a parameter(s) to reduce a number of resource blocks or an MCS value to improve the CCM. If respective minimum threshold levels have been reached for the number of resource blocks and MCS value, and CCM still is not satisfying the first threshold CCM, CMC can modify a parameter to increase an amount of repetition of data packets for uplink transmission (unless a maximum threshold amount of repetition is reached). If CCM satisfies an applicable threshold CCM for a defined amount of time, CMC can modify parameters to increase the number of resource blocks, increase MCS value, or reduce repetition of data packets.

Enhancing the robustness of uplink transmission

A method, system, computer readable storage medium, or apparatus provides for receiving a first message from a user equipment (UE), wherein the first message comprises an indication of one or more conditions, wherein the one or more conditions comprises an indication that the UE has a radio mode that comprises new radio (NR); determining a required idle period for long term evolution (LTE) for the UE; determining, based on the first message and the required idle period for LTE, a transmission time interval (TTI) for NR that corresponds to the required idle period for LTE; and sending, to the UE, a second message, wherein the second message comprises an indication of the TTI for NR.

Dynamic power sharing enhancement

Event triggered network parameter manipulation can include detecting a trigger to collect data associated with a connection between a user equipment and a cellular network; triggering delivery of a radio resource control message to the user equipment by the cellular network; and receiving, from the user equipment, a report that can include operational data associated with the user equipment. Data from the cellular network can be obtained. The data can include the report and operational data associated with the cellular network. The operational data associated with the cellular network can include connection parameters associated with the connection between the user equipment and the cellular network. The data can be analyzed to determine one of the connection parameters that is to be manipulated, and a command that instructs a recipient of the command to manipulate the one of the connection parameters can be issued.

Event triggered network parameter manipulation

Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for a compressed user equipment (UE) capability message that can indicate to a mobile network the various capabilities of the UE. In particular, the carrier aggregation and dual connectivity capabilities are compressed as disclosed herein. In traditional implementations, each carrier aggregation and dual connectivity combination and implementation that is supported is explicitly indicated in the message. As disclosed herein, rather than listing explicit combinations, the UE capability message can be compressed by instead listing boundary values of several different parameters which can be used by the network to derive the carrier aggregation and dual connectivity combinations. The UE capability message can also list the boundary values for LTE (Long Term Evolution), NR (New Radio, or 5G), and Dual Connectivity separately within the message to reduce ambiguity.

Carrier aggregation and dual connectivity capability exchange

Facilitating fast return to stand alone advanced networks (e.g., 5G, 6G, and beyond) after voice fall back is provided herein. Operations of a method can comprise receiving, from a first network device and by a second network device, a connection request that comprises an indication of a fall back procedure. The fall back procedure can be an 'RRC release and redirect' or an 'IRAT Handover.' The method also can comprise facilitating control of the voice communication for the mobile device and triggering a release of the control of the mobile device from the second network device based on a determination that the voice communication has completed. The fast return procedure can be either a &#x201c;RRC release and redirect' or an &#x201c;IRAT handover.&#x201d; Further, the method can comprise redirecting the mobile device to a third network device selected based on a capability of the mobile device.

Facilitating fast return to stand alone advanced networks after voice fall back

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying a first application executed by a user equipment, computing a first metric associated with an uplink between the user equipment and a base station over a first network, comparing the first metric with a second metric associated with the execution of the first application by the user equipment, and responsive to the comparing, causing the user equipment to connect to the base station via a second network that is different from the first network. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Method and apparatus for providing service coverage with a measurement-based dynamic threshold adjustment

Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for optimization of information required for establishing an initial connection with a network device. According to some embodiments, a system can comprise receiving a service request from a network device. The system can further comprise determining a first size of a network device capabilities message, wherein the determining is based on a second size of the network device capability message previously collected from the network device; and based on a first result of analyzing the first size of the network device capabilities message and a message size threshold, determining that the network device capabilities message is not greater than the message size threshold, and requesting the network device to provide the network device capabilities message associated with network device capabilities in accordance with a single step enquiry.

Self optimizing aggregation for 5G or other next generations wireless network

Information used for establishing an initial connection with a network device is optimizable. For example, a system can comprise transmitting a service request to a network node device to establish a connection, receiving a device capability request message comprising a group of configuration parameters that comprise a bandwidth class, a component carrier parameter and a band type parameter, and in response to the receiving the device capability request message, transmitting a device capability report generated based on the group of configuration parameters.
